SPOTLIGHT: HIW Champion Chester Addison

HIW Champion Chester Addison (c) vs. Bridge Emmett
The camera cuts back to the arena where Chester Addison is halfway down the ramp with the HIW Elite title in his hand, ‘Entertainment’ blaring through the PA system. The crowd cheers as he gets into the ring and raises his hand in an almost uncaring manor.

JD: Addison getting ready for action.

MS: Introducing first, the HIW Elite Champion, from London, England, weighing in at 224 pounds, CHESTER ADDISOOOON!!!

FJ: I hope Emmett fucks that kid up.

JD: Bit harsh?

FJ: No.

A chorus of boos immediately fills the arena, as the opening riff to ‘Becoming the Bull’ by Atreyu blast throughout the arena’s PA system. Bridge Emmett appears in the curtain with a black tank top on then walks to the ring in a stalking motion before sliding into the ring and exchanging a hostile stare with the crowd booing him.

MS: And the opponent, weighing in at 230 pounds, BRIDGE EMMETTTTTT!!!

JD: Emmett looks focused here, he’s been somewhat inconsistent since debuting here in HIW!

Finish:
Emmett whips Addison across the ring and immediately hits him on the rebound with a flapjack, Emmett then quickly gets up and hits an elbow to the ribs of the Elite Champion. The crowd cheers as Addison then struggles up and hits Emmett with a right hand, but Emmett hits back strong knocking Addison into the ropes before going over to the outside taking Addison with him on the clothesline. Emmett then grabs Addison and whips him into the stairs. The crowd boos as Emmett then gets back into the ring to keep the count alive before planting Addison’s face into the ring post. The crowd then boos even louder as Emmett lifts Addison for a suplex before dropping him ribs first across the guard rail.

JD: Oh my, what a move there!

Emmett then quickly throws Addison back into the ring, slides in himself and covers, driving his forearm into the face.

JD: Cover, one, two, no!

Emmett gets frustrated immediately as he starts to choke on Addison in anger, the crowd boos as the referee breaks it up. Emmett then pulls Addison up and taunts him for Divine Intervention but Addison pushes him back and immediately catches him with a double knee gutbuster.

JD: Whoa! What a counter there!

FJ: Wasn’t that good!

JD: Well Addison is in control now, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

FJ: But I’m straight-edge.

JD: You won’t get a push for that around these ends Freddy.

Addison then quickly pulls Emmett up and hits him with a snap suplex before grabbing him by the arm, pulling him up and nailing him with the kitchen sink sending Emmett crashing into his knee. Emmett then staggers up into a flourish of punches from Addison before being hit with a Side Effect. Addison quickly covers.

JD: One, two, no! Kick out from Emmett!

FJ: Yeah Emmett, that’s my boy!

Emmett struggles up to his feet and goes for Divine Intervention out of nowhere but Addison flips all the way out to his feet and quickly goes for the tigerbomb and connects. The crowd then erupts as he sets up to the Final Notice only for Katherine Stryfe to charge down the ramp and slide in, hitting Addison with a low blow, the referee immediately calls for the bell.

JD: Oh come on!

MS: Your winner via disqualification, CHESTER ADDISON!!!

Katherine stares at Emmett to make a quick exit as she starts to stamp on Addison before sliding out of the ring and grabbing a table and a chair and throwing them into the ring.
