Tournament brackets revealed!

Posted January 22nd by Tim Shipley in E-Wrestling News

ALBANY, NY – With the last update from our Albany HQ before we fly over to our field office in Nottingham, England for the start of the tour, we can bring you the FIRST official confirmation of the tournament brackets following last night’s draw! Click here to download a PDF file of the brackets as they have been drawn.

Arguably the two picks of the round both concerned the match-ups featuring teams that had already been arranged. Defending champions Brandon “Meat” Pierce & Aaron Nothings face two new signings with great pedigree, A1E World Heavyweight Champion Cameron Cruise and Defiance’s Frank Dylan James in the first main event of the tour. That will be immediately preceded by the encounter between Skylar Montgomery & Jay Terror and the potentially formidable team of NFW Television Champion Impulse and the mysterious Sentinel.

Elsewhere in the bracket, last tour’s co-MVPs go up against one another as Hush teams with John Lexicon against “Normal” John Johnson and his partner Steve Harrison. There is a team who between them have not lost a single Just match: that’s The Back Alley Brawler & Zoey, who will take on The Magnificent Messiah & Eric Masterson. There is a match featuring relative unknowns who will be looking to prove themselves to Just’s first British crowds; Anathkash Dakari & Grendel are up against Nolan Mercer & Sean Styles. And last but not least, Maddox Monson & Curtis Penn face the team of Sean Edmunds & Josh Marquez.

The first round matches will be spread over the first two weeks of the tour, with round two already laid out as indicated on the brackets PDF and slated for the third week in Arbroath. Remember that ALL shows of Just Wrestling Does Britain will be broadcasted as live in partnership with Veoh.com!

Russel Harder

I think that the two pre-decided teams are getting the most difficult match-ups at first glance. It’s quite impressive.
