Missouri Valley Wrestling CEO Jason Carmondy released a statement concerning the MVW Title…
“I just want to clarify the Missouri Valley Wrestling title situation.
First, I have contacted Miss USA, my mother Dame Judith Carmondy, and my sister Christa to apologize for accusing them of the hit job done on Jill-Berg and her associates last night. I have spoken with Ms. Berg at the hospital and she confirms that it was, in fact, Hydra (Team Danger and Cobra from Defiance Wrestling) who were responsible.
I have also contacted Jackie Daniels at the hospital and have some good news. She will be released from the hospital tomorrow and suffered a deep bone bruise on her leg where Dane’s limousine struck her. Jackie also has a couple bruised ribs from the fall.
So, this is where we stand:
1. Jackie Daniels is the Missouri Valley Wrestling Champion.
2. Because Jackie will be out for about two weeks, Miss USA will take her place in the WfWA Title Match in two weeks against Cobra.
3. Once Jackie is well enough to wrestle, her first title defense will be against Miss USA. We are targeting April 4th at Missouri Valley Wrestling’s Arch Wrestling Madness in St. Louis as the date.
4. Jill-Berg suffered a concussion last night as a result of Hydra’s attack. She also has a slight break in her collarbone and will be out of action for six weeks. Once she is able to return, Jill will get a title shot. We are targeting MVWA 28 on April 25th for her return.
Also, my earlier position concerning Defiance Wrestling, Eric Dane, and the WfWA Tag Team belts remain unchanged. The WfWA needs to take immediate action to stem these unprovoked attacks and also return the tag team belts to their rightful owners- The Hardcore Icons from Wrestling Midwest.”
