Posted June 3rd by EW Torch Staff in Best of E-Wrestling, E-Wrestling News, Torchcenter
Heel of the Month:
-Trey Vincent, All-Star Championship Wrestling
Vincent finally got his wish and ended Alias’s reign as ACW Heavyweight Champion at Legends IV himself after putting up a bounty on Alias in the preceeding weeks. Vincent is on a roll in the cocky heel role at ACW.
Other notables:
-High Flyer, New Frontier Wrestling
Flyer gets major heel points for putting a plastic bag over the American Panda at NFW’s Brawl in Cincinnati and costing the Panda his match.
-Sault Saint Marie, Wrestling Midwest
Saint Marie’s crusade to clean up WMW for Sportstime Ohio has placed him in the crosshairs of its most notable wrestler- Valora Salinas. He cost Hecate the Heartlands title and continues to butt heads with owner Brad Johnson over the product.

Face of the Month:
-Scarlett Willis, Simcoe County Championship Wrestling
Scarlett finally lost the Simcoe County Heavyweight title to Aaron Blaize but not after putting up a valiant fight against Blaize and Dynasty. Willis continues to be the best pure ‘never say die’ face in wrestling.
Other notables:
-Sebastian Cross, Totally Fictional Wrestling Federation
Cross is halfway home in his major angle with The Career Killers and the Rev. James Onlee- who continues to hold his family in the palm of his hand. Cross regained the TFWF World Title from Fallen Angel on Saturday Night Slam and now has a date with Rev. Onlee AND another antagonist Dorian Wong at TFWF’s Flagship PPV- Death or Glory.
-Bryan Payne, Action Packed Wrestling
Payne has been feuding with former WWR World #3 Level-One and defeated the former #1 wrestler in the world at APW’s Mayhem PPV in the blow-off match.
————
Character of the Month:
-Varga, Sin City Championship Wrestling
Varga’s work at SCCW continues to be some of the most entertaining moments in wrestling today.
————
Announcers of the Month:
-Eugene Ware and Dave Gibson, Sin City Championship Wrestling
Ware and Gibson’s call of the Team Civilization/Team Malloy match earlier this month was one of the best and funniest I’ve heard in a long time.
————-
Angle of the Month:
-Rev. James Onlee and The Career Killers vs. Sebastian Cross- Totally Fictional Wrestling Federation
As mentioned earlier, step one of Sebastian Cross’s revenge has taken place with Cross regaining the TFWF World Title. Now Cross tries to win back his family from Rev. Onlee and Dorian Wong at TFWF’s Death or Glory PPV.
Other notables:
-Wendy Briese, Terrance Thompson, Victor Mandrake- Pro Wrestling Xtreme
Briese and Thompson are married. Mandrake once kidnapped Briese. Thompson wants to kill Mandrake. But yet, all three are thrown together to team up for WfWA’s Summer Games with one common cause- defeating Defiance Wrestling and Eric Dane.
-Sault Saint Marie/Brad Johnson angle- Wrestling Midwest
The battle for control of Wrestling Midwest is on between Saint Marie, a representative of Sportstime Ohio, and Johnson, the owner of WMW.

Match of the Month:
-Team Civilization vs. Team Malloy- Sin City Championship Wrestling Temptation
This match featured Varga’s Civilization group versus former compadre Rick Malloy and his group. In the end, Varga swerves Civilization and get then gets swerved himself. A great, fun read and the match commentary is priceless.

You knew this one was going to be epic…and it was.

Twenty Youtube videos, people. TWENTY. One for every single separate entrance.
Were there no other submissions for match of the month?

I don’t get it, because if Varga is considered to be that great of a character, how in the hell can I trust your rankings with Trey Vincent or anything else?
A lot of that just looks like trash.

That doesn’t exactly answer the question of your hard-on for James Varga.
EW Torch Staff

I don’t necessarily feel the need to answer it, Hyde.
I guarantee that someone else who reads through a month’s worth of matches for 63 different federations will come up with different choices.
And I’m okay with that.
A better question, Hyde, is why are you still chapped that Dawn McGill defeated you for the HOW LSD title?
