ACW Update: KING OF AGES 2010 fallout.

Posted September 20th by Renaud Cardinal in All-Star Championship Wrestling

At the now-infamous KING OF AGES 2010 pay-per-view, there were a lot of casualities in the search for victory and ultimate glory. For weeks, fans have demanded to know what has happened to these individuals. Now, as COURAGE 121 rapidly approaches, we bring you a round of updates on some of the competitors that left Stockholm broken shells of their former selves.

* Buddy Saxon: After the horrific beating he received at Z’s hands, Buddy was immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility. During the six days he was cooped up there, Buddy’s legal guardian — his uncle Nigel — had an emergency meeting with General Manager SilverHAWK. The result? Buddy Saxon’s contract with ACW has been terminated as of 01 September 2010. SilverHAWK and Buddy’s uncle Nigel reached a mutual understanding regarding the contract termination. While the Bournemouth Boy will no longer be plying his trade in ACW, sources indicate that Buddy’s recovered rather remarkably since being released from Stockholm’s finest medical facility and is now back home in jolly ol’ England. Rumours suggest that Buddy’s to the point of complete physical recovery, which has stumped many of the doctors and physicians that were treating him in Stockholm.

* Sven Avsbern: Unfortunately for Sven, there’s no mini-miracle for him. With a broken home and a brutally-damaged windpipe, Avsbern has slipped into a comatose state and now rests in a private residential facility in Stockholm. No other details have emerged regarding Sven’s situation, but his contract was also terminated as of 01 September 2010 by SilverHAWK. HAWK did indicate that if Sven ever recovered and wanted to return to ACW, he’d be open to explore that option.

* Kellen ‘Machine’ Masters: Furious at having been unceremoniously dumped out of the 2010 King Of Ages Tournament at the hands of Jesse Ramey and Keith Scott Zimmerman, Kellen Masters demanded an immediate release from his contract the day after the pay-per-view. SilverHAWK consented without asking questions.

* Paige Allen: Considering the role she played in Buddy Saxon’s downfall, Paige was given a brief respite; time off to gather her thoughts while SilverHAWK decided upon her fate. Reports reveal that Paige WILL be in attendance on COURAGE 121, summoned accordingly by the General Manager. What her ultimate fate is remains to be seen.
