Having just had the sixth episode of their new flagship show SLAM! released on Hulu.com, nBW has just been rocked with some shocking news. A pair of Scottish businessmen, their identities still a mystery, have apparently bought out the majority share of the company from promoter and day-to-day operator Thaddeus Boyle. Boyle couldn’t be reached for comment; apparently, he’s off enjoying an orgy in Aruba.
What we DO know is that nBW, known as ‘no Brand Wrestling’ for the entirety of its existence, will now be operated as… ‘New Britain Wrestling’! New Britian is a historic term for Scotland, and to fit in with that, every resource and manpower contracted to NBW will be moved to Glasgow with immediate effect. No word on when the next episode of SLAM! will be scheduled. For all we know, SLAM! might be changed to HAGGIS! or something equally absurd.
Sweeping changes for nBW are here, and many are simply stunned by this latest development.
