There was truly something for everyone in attendance and watching at home.

What specifically was featured? Well, let’s see. A show-long chase. Two titles changing hands. Tables breaking, bones shattered, shocking team-ups, weird e-mails being sent, heavy sexual innuendo, a squash of epic proportions, a lot of gesturing and name-calling, several beatdowns, insults being thrown around. So, basically, a usual Thursday in the office for the employees of ACW.

Check out the transcript for yourselves. We suggest you lay down some newspapers in the vicinity, for you shall surely either soil yourself or wet yourself upon reading the transcript.

Imagine what would have happened if you’d actually watched the show LIVE, or on television. Sheesh. You’d be in the hospital by now.

Merry Christmas. Oh, wait. It’s only October. Drats!

At the now-infamous KING OF AGES 2010 pay-per-view, there were a lot of casualities in the search for victory and ultimate glory. For weeks, fans have demanded to know what has happened to these individuals. Now, as COURAGE 121 rapidly approaches, we bring you a round of updates on some of the competitors that left Stockholm broken shells of their former selves.

–

* Buddy Saxon: After the horrific beating he received at Z’s hands, Buddy was immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility. During the six days he was cooped up there, Buddy’s legal guardian — his uncle Nigel — had an emergency meeting with General Manager SilverHAWK. The result? Buddy Saxon’s contract with ACW has been terminated as of 01 September 2010. SilverHAWK and Buddy’s uncle Nigel reached a mutual understanding regarding the contract termination. While the Bournemouth Boy will no longer be plying his trade in ACW, sources indicate that Buddy’s recovered rather remarkably since being released from Stockholm’s finest medical facility and is now back home in jolly ol’ England. Rumours suggest that Buddy’s to the point of complete physical recovery, which has stumped many of the doctors and physicians that were treating him in Stockholm.

* Sven Avsbern: Unfortunately for Sven, there’s no mini-miracle for him. With a broken home and a brutally-damaged windpipe, Avsbern has slipped into a comatose state and now rests in a private residential facility in Stockholm. No other details have emerged regarding Sven’s situation, but his contract was also terminated as of 01 September 2010 by SilverHAWK. HAWK did indicate that if Sven ever recovered and wanted to return to ACW, he’d be open to explore that option.

* Kellen ‘Machine’ Masters: Furious at having been unceremoniously dumped out of the 2010 King Of Ages Tournament at the hands of Jesse Ramey and Keith Scott Zimmerman, Kellen Masters demanded an immediate release from his contract the day after the pay-per-view. SilverHAWK consented without asking questions.

* Paige Allen: Considering the role she played in Buddy Saxon’s downfall, Paige was given a brief respite; time off to gather her thoughts while SilverHAWK decided upon her fate. Reports reveal that Paige WILL be in attendance on COURAGE 121, summoned accordingly by the General Manager. What her ultimate fate is remains to be seen.

Weeks ago, ACW had a summer blockbuster of a pay-per-view.

The man that walked away from Stockholm with all the plaudits? None other than ACW’s newest King — Jesse Ramey.

And as the All-Stars touched down in Greece in preparation for COURAGE 121 and the next arc of events, the lovely Jenna McMullen managed to snag an unofficial interview with Jesse. No doubt, the Anti-Star will have more to say on COURAGE 121 regarding what happened at the pay-per-view. But for now?

Why not kick back and check out the banter between Jenna and Jesse?

–

Jenna: It’s my pleasure to get to sit down and talk with you once again, Jesse. The biggest question everyone has on their minds is how does it feel being the 2010 King Of Ages?

Jesse: For ten long months, I’ve struggled to get over that slump, Jenna; my less-than-fantastic re-debut at END GAME 2009, ‘Superstar’ Vince Jacobs, Khristain Keller & Jade Argent, and then Khristain Keller in singles competition. Four big match situations and the chance to finally shine were just outside of my grasp. The entire 2010 King Of Ages Tournament will all go down in my record book as the defining moment of my career. I’ve been wrestling for nineteen years, and I’m thirty-four years old. That doesn’t sound old to many people, but in this business people look at that as being over the hill. You’re too old to be doing this kind of thing any more, and you can’t compete with the young bucks that are in their 18s or even in their early 20s.

On the 26th of August 2010, I proved my worth to this company, and I didn’t need any help getting to the top. I didn’t need to rely on anything other than the talent I’ve been putting out my entire career. I told people that it was going to be my time to shine, and it was far overdue, but I’ve finally proven my critics wrong. I’ve finally put the nail in that coffin that’s been haunting me for months. My first big match win, and it has to be the sweetest big match win anyone could have ever expected. The only people I can really thank for this moment Jenna are the loyal followers of the Dark Ages, my court helped me to this moment and I owe to them all of the thanks.

Jenna: That’s all nice and stuff, Jesse. I guess. As far as I can tell you really got things rolling going into the pay-per-view as well, finally staking claim to a win over Khristain Keller. That must have been a sweet moment for you too, huh?

Jesse: Khristain Keller. Obviously people, especially Khristain himself, seem to forget that this wasn’t the first time I pinned his shoulders to the mat. Let me give you all a little history lesson on the past ten months. COURAGE 108, I beat Khristain Keller. LEGENDS IV, Jade Argent may have gone on to beat me in the heart-pounding climax of The World Series, but I was the man who eliminated Khristain from that match-up. COURAGE 115, Khristain Keller’s team defeated mine in a hell of a 10-men tag team free-for-all. COURAGE COUNTDOWN TO DISASTER, Khristain Keller defeated me in the first-ever Four Walls Battle. And on COURAGE 120, I defeated Khristain Keller in what many would call our rubber match.

The score is set at three-to-two, Keller; but as far as I’m concerned going man to man with you Keller our record is still in my favor two to one. The battle between you and I is far from over, and it wouldn’t surprise me that as long as the two of us are still competing if this thing doesn’t see a hundred matches culminate within the squared circle of All-Star Championship Wrestling.

Jenna: Yeah, once again that’s nice and all. Sometimes I don’t quite understand your way of explaining things. Jesse, can you leak us any information as to what is next for you and what your King’s Choice may entail?

Jesse: Until you have proven yourself loyal to stand amongst the rest of the members of the court of the Dark Ages Jenna, you will be in the dark just as much as anyone else. I do not have to tell my loyal subjects what my King’s Choice decision is going to be; they already know the answer to that question. And none of them will question that decision as they know it will be the best decision for the kingdom. I know what I am going to do with my King’s Choice, as for the rest of ACW. They will all find out in due time.

Jenna: And to conclude this interview Jesse, something that has been attracting a lot of buzz over the past couple of months is the resurgence of the wrestling promotion Legacy of Champions. The majority of your fans know that you were a staple of this promotion for the longest time; what are the chances of you jumping ship to work in your former stomping grounds?

Jesse: Let’s veer off the record for a moment here, Jenna; Legacy of Champions and Black Tom Williams had their chance to secure me to a contract before the last time the promotion went under. He didn’t act on my offer to keep me an exclusive talent in LoC and that’s their loss.

All-Star Championship Wrestling, SilverHAWK, and even Jeremy Hunt have done leaps and bounds more for my career than Tom Williams ever thought about doing. Why anyone would want to jump back to that place is beyond me. Actually, no, it isn’t beyond me; either you just couldn’t cut it in any other promotion running or you just like being smacked around like a little bitch. Well, you can all have fun being driven into the ground in a backstage atmosphere that is surrounded by nothing, but politics.

My home is All-Star Championship Wrestling, and that’s not coming from ‘The Anti-Star’ Jesse Ramey. That’s coming from Jesse Ramey the human being. I’ll continue to work in this promotion until the day I die, and although my blood once ran the colors of the Legacy of Champions, I’ve had a very successful blood transfusion of the All-Star Championship Wrestling.

Jenna: Well Jesse, thanks for another intriguing and quite odd interview. At least the website seems to get pretty good hits from the stranger crowd when we do these things with you.

Yet, on a pay-per-view which was loaded with monumental moments, one stood out: Vince Jacobs ditching the colours of ACW, and signing with a rival promotion poised to make its comeback in a matter of weeks. That’s right. Legacy of Champions.

Here are the initial reactions from several of the All-Stars we spoke to today –

Rory Hayes: Bah. I think they tried to recruit me. I told them to fuck off. What? It’s entirely possible that they wanted to sign me.

Buddy Saxon: … call… my Uncle Nigel… tell him… I’m… going to… *vomits and then passes out*

Kati: Yeah, right. LoC tried to recruit Rory Hayes. I’m going to believe that. Oh, my reaction to Vince Jacobs joining ‘em? Eh. So what?

Fejona Min: Does it look like I give two tugs of a dead dog’s cock about Vince Jacobs joining LoC?

Fight Man: I’m Fight Man. I’m new.

Iceman: Good riddance to the COCKSUCKER~!

Jack Harris: Bleeding ‘ell, Hayes got a contract offer from LoC? I don’t facking believe that for one twatting second!

The Amazing Gabriel: Doesn’t matter what place it is; LoC, ACW… wherever The Night Life goes IS the ‘A’ show!

Fever Pitch: LoC? The guy that sang Wild Thing? He’s making a comeback? Pfft, fuck him.

Zip Zap: I go wherever Gabriel goes. All hail Fearless Leader!

Elixr: Love me some Aria Murphy… but she’s here now. So eff them.

Kaus: Every has-been and wash-up who can’t let go of the spotlight goes to LoC… Legion of Old Cunts.

Tyson XL: … *waits for The Amazing Gabriel to stop talking*

Keith Scott Zimmerman: I didn’t realize it was called Legacy of Washed-Up Former Champions.

Jade Argent: Job done~! Who’s next to have their ACW career destroyed? Form an orderly line behind Pro Wrestling’s Crybaby.

Alias: … No comment.

Jesse Ramey: As much as any of these other fuckers like to sit back and make snide comments to try and make themselves look good; this is a huge loss for A-C-W. Will we continue to be at the top of the game? Yeah, one superstar doesn’t make or break a company. But this is truly a saddening loss, considering Vince has been one of my favorite superstars working in this business for a long time. Honestly? Best of luck, Jacobs, and hopefully our paths will cross again one day.

Khristain Keller: Jesse Ramey just proved to me that he sucks balls… just like Legacy of Cuntflaps do.

Z: Ramey sucks balls. What? Keller said the same thing? Christ, maybe I was wrong about him. Oh, you want my opinion about Jacobs. Hh. Stay tuned to COURAGE 121. Or maybe COURAGE 122. I’m a man of many schemes, which means I have a packed schedule. I do have one thing to add: RAMEY. SUCKS. BALLS.

WORLD.WIDE.WRESTLECIDE 003 ¤ 19 AUGUST 2010
ISKU AREENA, LAHTI, FINLAND

Once the cue was given, the cameras started rolling and WORLD.WIDE.WRESTLECIDE 003 began beaming to thousands of fans online! The pyrotechnics were of the highest order as about 5,200 fans welcomed the ACW roster back to Finland after what was hailed as an amazing show in COURAGE 116 many weeks ago. The citizens of Lahti served up a hell of an atmosphere in the Isku Areena, eagerly awaiting the KING OF AGES 2010 pay-per-view that would be held in Stockholm in a week’s time.

The first item on agenda was a match, and unfortunately for the fans, it didn’t feature any of their fan favourites. Still, they were pumped to see Iceman come out, armed with his trademark scowl and all. With his win over hometown boy Shenkar Rasmussen in a dark match on COURAGE 120, Iceman was afforded an opportunity to shake things up in a major way as he took on Fejona Min for the ACW Scorpion Fighting Title. Fejona didn’t look too pleased as she made her way down to the ring; clearly, this was the doing of one Jeremy Hunt considering the friction that has developed between the two. It was evident that Min had one eye on the epic Stockholm Syndrome Match at KING OF AGES 2010, and the wily Iceman duly took advantage. It’d been a while since Iceman had the chance to challenge for the Scorpion Fighting Title in singles competition; LEGENDS IV was, in fact, the last time. Coincidentally, it was after Iceman’s defeat to Omega that Fejona Min made her shocking return. Hence, there was an added layer of drama to the fight. ACW’s Original Femme Fatale eventually got her head back into the game, and after clawing her way back from the jaws of defeat, Fejona finally put Iceman away by laying him out via a brainbuster down onto ‘Barb’. A solid win for Fejona, which surely helped to calm her nerves after the scare she got at Arkady’s hands on COURAGE 120.

Backstage, in a make-shift office, ACW’s General Manager SilverHAWK was seen having a conversation with All-Star Academy Chief ICU. A lot of history between those two Hall Of Famers, and there was an electricity in the air as the two men talked about potential stalwarts from the Academy joining the ACW roster soon. SilverHAWK told ICU that he was impressed with the talent that had been assembled in the Academy, and asked how the Academy’s finances were doing. ICU responded that there was no cause for worry, as he’d just received a donation from a certain somebody earlier that day. SilverHAWK was confused, until he was told who made the donation: none other than the Caped Crusader, Z!

It was back to the ring after that little breather. Having spent months toiling away in the All-Star Academy, MIS (referred to some as the Japanese Wrecking Machine) was rewarded with a call-up to the big time on COURAGE 120 and although he competed in dark match, MIS impressed. Hence, he and Koji Takada — who was also of Japanese descent but still exclusively contracted to the All-Star Academy for the foreseeable future — found themselves teaming up against The SOBs. While the last few months hadn’t been too kind to The SOBs, they still had the overwhelming support of the fans and ran roughshod over the tandem of MIS and Koji in the opening minutes. It appeared that all MIS and Takada had in common was their country of birth. Still, their combined talent finally shone through after Koji hammered Selby O’Brien with a cartwheel kick and MIS followed up with a belly-to-back suplex! From there, the match evened out, and the fans watched the momentum change numerous times. The see-saw encounter saw MIS claim a pinfall over Selby following his MIS Explosion finisher while Koji kept Sheamus occupied outside the ring.

Once all four participants of that previous match-up were escorted away from ringside, it was time for another match straightaway. And the fans exploded when Sven Avsbern came down to the ring, looking supremely confident. Although it wasn’t Sweden, Sven Avsbern still got the loudest round of cheers of the night by far, and the Swedish War Machine was in fine form. ‘Zen-Zational’ Zhang Tao never stood a chance, losing another match. Even if it wasn’t a Scorpion Fighting Rules match-up, Zhang Tao couldn’t mount more than four moves in a row, and Sven easily dispatched him with his trademark pop-up clothesline. After the bell rang, Sven took control of a microphone and warned everyone that his moment of destiny was nearing. Obviously, Sven The Hardcore was referring to KING OF AGES 2010 and the fact that it was being held in his backyard. But still, nobody had a clue what he really meant. Cryptic, indeed.

Backstage, SilverHAWK had caught up with Z, who was reading a women’s magazine. Don’t ask. HAWK asked the Masked Enigma why he had donated a large sum of money to the All-Star Academy. Z reminded HAWK that it was his financial contributions that ensured the All-Star Academy had a new lease of life earlier in the year (February to be precise). Z went on to say that he therefore felt obligated to keep tabs on the Academy and was committed to seeing the Academy thrive. SilverHAWK didn’t seem like he bought that story, and warned the Masked Enigma that he would not tolerate any hijinx. Z laughed, and told SilverHAWK to re-focus his attentions on whatever Jeremy Hunt from SlySports was plotting.

Ever since coming within a whisker of becoming United States Champion way back in February of this year, Peter Phoenix has had an indifferent spell of fortunes in the All-Star Academy. Kati, meanwhile, has slowly been estabilishing herself as a valuable member of Z’s inner circle despite not featuring in that many matches. It was then very encouraging to see Kati and Phoenix set their inhibitions aside and throw everything but the kitchen sink at each other. At one point, Jack Harris (a very familiar face to Peter) and Kesavan came down to the ring, but Kati gestured for them not to get involved, even though she was reeling from Peter’s fierce strikes. Finally, Kati secured the hard-fought win after countering Phoenix’s attempt at a triangle choke into a rolling clutch pin. Kati and Peter shared a nod of respect moments later, with Harris and Kesavan watching on sourly.

Backstage, none other than backstage interviewer extrodinare Jenna McMullen was seen speaking to Joe Bishop. Bishop, who was the right-hand man to SilverHAWK, explained to Jenna that there had been a new match signed for the KING OF AGES 2010 pay-per-view; Orlando Grant would take on ‘Vicious’ Greg Miles in a traditional Scorpion Fighting Rules match-up. Jenna was surprised, and wondered aloud if Greg Miles would be able to make the pay-per-view considering how bad a shape he was in after his match with Orlando on COURAGE 120. Bishop revealed that the doctors had given Greg a clean bill of health, and it was Greg himself who requested for another opportunity to lock horns with Orlando. Joe also stated that the winner would get a shot at the Scorpion Fighting Title on COURAGE 121.

An interesting tidbit about Malk Al-Haq: his recent war with Midnight Cowboy for the Spirit Of ACW Championship may have ended on a not-so-positive note, but his second reign as United States Champion was going just swimmingly. Except for the small issue of a true former All-Star from ACW’s past in ‘Courageous’ Charlie Cusack coming back into the fold. Charlie and his nephew Jackie Cusack received a solid reception from the Finnish fans; there were a handful of fans that remembered The Courageous One’s past, holding up posters of Charlie from his SWF days. Malk Al-Haq and Kirzhov Vayzi — comrades in the cabal that Z had formed with Trey Vincent not too long ago — had one goal only: weaken Charlie Cusack as much as possible, so that Malk’s eventual showdown with him at the end of the month would go in the Babylonian Overlord’s favour. Alas, after a tag team encounter that grew in stature over the course of thirteen minutes, it was Charlie Cusack and his nephew Jackie Cusack standing tall; Charlie had in fact pinned Malk to win the match. Every single fan were on their feet, and for everybody associated with the All-Star Academy, the feeling was that there would soon be a brand new United States Champion to look forward to.

Outside the arena, Jenna McMullen was freezing her tits off. Lucky for Jenna, she had the company of Z to serve as a distraction. Jenna proceeded to ask Z whether he could spill any details on his proposed meeting with Fejona Min after COURAGE 120. Z acted all coy, claiming that it was purely a business meeting and nothing else happened. The Caped Crusader insisted that Fejona was mulling over an invitation into the cabal, and Z was certain that she would accept in due time. Suddenly, the two were joined by Iceman of all people! Jenna was worried, until Z calmed her nerves down: he had summoned Iceman, who as it turned out was the newest member of the cabal! Jenna was more than flabbergasted, and watched as Iceman and Z took their leave, taking over future plans.

In an interesting change of pace, the Finnish fans found themselves being barked at by a young man dressed all ghetto. He definitely didn’t spit hot fire, and was in fact quite awful in his raps. He did manage to introduce himself as Antione MacDaniels, and requested for two things. PCP and anybody at all to fight. Nobody in the audience even knew what PCP was, so Antione asked the fans in the front row behind the Broadcast Booth for weed. No luck. But, Antione did get a response to his second request. Unfortunately for him, it happened to be Ryan Billows answering the call for the open challenge. It took Billows all of 30 seconds to secure the win; he ducked a sloppy clothesline attempt from Antione and immediately struck with his trademark LOST Kick. Thereafter, Billows destroyed Antione with his Cause For Concern finisher and picked up the easy win. Without any emotion whatsoever, The Risen Lion calmly exited the ring and retreated to the back, having barely broken a sweat.

The last stop backstage saw SilverHAWK speaking to ‘The One’ Jimmy Reid, who was free from his play-by-play duties for the night. Jimmy informed SilverHAWK that he was excited about all the young talent that ACW and the All-Star Academy were scooping up, but he had a lead on one particular upstart that nobody knew about. When SilverHAWK asked for more information, Jimmy was more than happy to explain: his adopted son and the heir to his legacy — ‘The Two’ Booster Reid! SilverHAWK was stunned, and Jimmy handed the General Manager a dossier on his adopted son, insisting that Booster would be ready to start at any time.

And finally, it was time for the main event of the evening. And what a treat it was for the fans in the stands and those watching online. On one side of the ring? Ulf German, Der Deutscher Soldat, William T. Rex and Abraham Swift. On the other side of the squared circle? Rud Albion, Orlando Grant, John Sarsgaard and Midnight Cowboy. It would be elimination rules, and right from the get-go, the action was fast and furious. Orlando was the first to draw blood, eliminating Der Deutscher Soldat following Big Shit Poppin’ finisher. Shortly after that, Ulf German got rid of Orlando thanks to Abraham Swift holding down OG’s legs and thereby preventing Orlando from kicking out. Abraham Swift went toe-to-toe with John Sarsgaard after that, and took advantage of Sarsgaard’s badly bruised state; yes, you got it. Abraham eliminated the #1 Contender to the Spirit Of ACW Championship after some tandem excellence. Alas, moments later, Rud Albion and Midnight Cowboy combined to take Abraham out of the equation. That left William T. Rex alone with Cowboy and Albion. Perhaps not so shockingly, Rex battled like a true fighter, taking the fight to the Bronze Lion and the Smooth Operator, using his vast experience to outwit Rud Albion and eliminate him following a sit-out chokeslam. That meant William T. Rex and Midnight Cowboy were the last two men standing. Several minutes later, Cowboy put Rex away with his Voices After Midnight finisher and secured the epic victory. Needless to say, the Finnish fans were delighted at the fantastic main event. A wonderful ending to a solid night of wrestling action.

First there was the story of ‘Superstar’ Vince Jacobs getting into the film business after being offered the role of Marvel Comics superhero Thor, and then there were even wilder reports of Jesse Ramey doing the same by portraying a renegade bartender that’s the last of his kind. While all of this was happening though, did ACW’s very own half-man, half-vulture sneak under the radar and put in time in the next Wes Craven film? If the photograph below is any indication, it would appear so:

Though Carrion, also known as Koschei the Deathless, has proven impossible to find in hopes of making a comment on this image… it would seem for all intents and purposes the thing that holds the Black Title, is a perfect fit for scaring high school kids in the film My Soul To Keep. A plot synopsis of the more or less rote-sounding horror film is appended for your reading… err, pleasure.

In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer. Adam “Bug” Heller was supposed to die on the bloody night his father went insane. Unaware of his dad’s terrifying crimes, he has been plagued by nightmares since he was a baby. But if Bug hopes to save his friends from the monster that’s returned, he must face an evil that won’t rest… until it finishes the job it began the day he was born.

Well. Stranger things have happened.
