What better way to start your Wednesday then with a ton of news from around the World Wrestling Alliance?!

- A meeting between Jane Katze and Eric Dane yesterday was thought to be over a possible Defiance contract. However, it is now known that Dane had requested her presence to discuss burying old hatchets.

- Noah Hanson was the topic of discussion yesterday as well, after being seen in WWA offices looking at an alliance wide free agent listing. Top officials have concluded no harm, no fowl and openly welcome Hanson back to the office anytime to discuss a future within the alliance.

- Apex Wrestling Alliance officially ceased operations today in the wake of DREAM leaving and rumors of Wrestling Midwest jumping ship. J.C. Barr had commented that the DWF never gave two shits about the alliance once the joined. Mark Zylbert had the following comment:

Barr upset Peters when he no showed our events three weeks in a row after we signed with them. Eventually I wrote the angle out of our line up. Personally, I had nothing to to do with the initial contract signing, that was all the boss. To me, I would have pulled away after Barr broke our contract by no-showing the events. It doesn’t matter now either way, the WWA is high class and DREAM rolls with the high class. I mean how many other promotions would have to be replaced by signing two new ones in an alliance? Exactly.

- Speaking of Wrestling Midwest, sources say they are 90% close to signing a deal with the WWA. With the closure of Apex, many feel it’s only hours away.
- High Octane Wrestling is a day closer to signing as well, insiders say. Lee Best has been in non stop contact with many inside the alliance for several days.
- The WWA may also be getting political soon as Political Championship Wrestling has sent feelers to the alliance.
- More women needed? The all woman promotion, Missouri Valley, could be heading to the WWA soon as well. This could mark the first time in alliance history of an all woman promotion being added.
- Adrien Cochrane reads The Ungerground? Apparently as he released a press statement yesterday confirming exactly what we leaked a couple days ago.

- Tyrone Walker has been unusually quiet with all the movement in the WWA. Even after his partner’s contract offer’s from DREAM. As of right now he is signed to Appalachian Wrestling, but many feel he is contemplating something else and waiting for the right time to reveal it.

“Williams seems to be searching for something under the ring. he is! Travis is pulling a table out from under the ring.”

Travis begins to set the table up. Once it’s up he turns to the ring in time to see Anti-Hero dive through the ropes. As Anti-Hero hits the suicide dive, Williams’ head bounces off of the floor. Anti-Hero gets to his feet, pulling Travis up with him.

“Several shots to Travis Williams’ head. Anti-Hero now scooping Travis up. He’s having a little bit of a problem doing it, but he has him, SLAMMED RIGHT THROUGH THAT TABLE!”

The referee checks on Travis and begins counting. Williams doesn’t move. Finally, he hits 10.

“ANTI-HERO HAS BEAT TRAVIS WILLIAMS! He is your new “You Call It” champion!”

Anti-Hero has his hand raised as he holds the belt. Suddenly the lights flash off. A few moments later they are back on, Anti-Hero seems to have slimmed down even more as he stands victorious over Travis. Anti-Hero runs, sliding into the ring.

“I know the man who faced Travis Williams wasn’t Williams’ size, but this can’t be the same person!”

Anti-Hero climbs the turnbuckle and holds the belt up as he uses his free hand to remove his mask. The crowd goes insane.

“It’s CANCER JILES! CANCER JILES IS THE “YOU CALL IT” CHAMPION AGAIN!”

-Dream Champion Lupin Cy #19 in the WWR Rankings, versus 501

“Lupin Cy is going for the ladder again… He’s already crashed and burned once tonight, will take two be a different story?”

Cy reaches the ladder and climbs to his feet, setting the ladder up directly beneath the belt and starting to climb. 501 notices Cy climbing and groggily crawls towards the bottom rung of the ladder.

“501 following Lupin up the ladder!”

Lupin Cy begins to kick downward at 501 as he reaches the top. 501 tries to grab Cy’s leg.

“Anything could happen at any moment!”

Lupin’s foot smashes 501 in the face and he falls. Lupin begins to climb again. The fans scream as he reaches and grasp the title, tugging it. Eventually he pulls it and the bell sounds.

“Lupin Cy retains the DWF World Championship! But for how long? At the end of the month he must meet Doozer to merge their belts. Two champions going in, but only one will walk out on top!”

Paul Cain Quits Due to Health Concerns- from SCCW Newsboard
It has been confirmed that SCCW star, Paul Cain has reached agreement on the termination of his contract. While The Syndicate leader has claimed he wishes to pursue other ventures, there are more worrying reports concerning the physical well being of Paul. While no statements have been made officially from SCCW management, his behaviour has been questionable. The recent erratic and almost uncharacteristic absent mindedness from Paul Cain during recent comments towards Myke Adams whereby Cain ‘forgot’ Myke had lost the SCCW Title, as well as reported late arrival for events, is without doubt unusual.

[The crowd watch on as Chris has Georgie on his shoulder, he screams out as he charges the ring post and tosses her at it, she connects face first and plants down over the floor on her back. Champion gives his classic grin before he stomps at her and drags the True Expert champ to her feet. He shoves her under the ropes and rolls in himself. Standing, he peers over the booing crowd before running a thumb across his neck! He pulls her up and wraps the head, looking for his cutter known as the Silent Night! But as he goes for the move, Nickles battles out and shoves him away, jumping backward as she does some what of a cartwheel, slapping each foot off Champion’s chin! He staggers back and she dives forward, wrapping his head and twisting her body up and through the air, bringing Chris around and down with a beautiful standing Tornado DDT!]

Johnny Wilkins – Wow, Nickles is something, she just keeps fighting the much bigger Chris Champion! She is a True champion Ryan!

Ryan Antonelli – She’s dead meat! Just watch!

[Nickles glares through the excited crowd, shaking her head around she grins as she jumps up to her feet and heads through the ropes, scaling up Champion as she readies for what is obviously going to be a 720 DDT! Chris pushes and grinds to his feet, the crowd in a booming chorus of delight as Nickles springboards herself and goes airborne! As she sails into Chris, the crowd suddenly goes blank, silent… He catches her yet again, this time with a brutally vile mid air spear that shakes the ring! Champion pushes up, his face painted in anger as Georgie grabs at her mid section, folded over by the nasty spear. Chris grabs a handful of her hair and snarls as he yanks her up before quickly crunching Nickles over the mat with a running bomb, alias the Cannon Bomb before making a heavy pin! The crowd stunned, quiet with disbelief…]

We’ve added A1E and ICW to the list of fed in the WWR Rankings.

Well, it was a very quiet week in terms of title changes and the such. So without any further ado, Kirsta Lewis wins yet another title- this one in TFWF, Biggs takes APW’s Overdrive title and Shadow won it from him at the Expert’s Rival Factions PPV show, Alexis Steele wins a three way match to become SCW’s new Women’s champion, and Chris West dethrones Ken Fuqua at G-2’s Supershow. Which one will be this week’s E-Wrestler of the Week? Let’s see…

Travis Williams (DWF): defeated Cool Cancer Jiles to win the ‘You Call It’ Title on DWF’s Slaughter show.

This week, Dream Wrestling’s Jill Berg completed her rise to the top of the Women’s Division. Malicia Savage and Mike Sinclaire looked dominant against War Machine in winning the Simcoe County Tag Team titles. Black Death won gold at PWR’s Halloween Spectacular. John Cross, known more for his tag team exploits, wins the PWR Revolution title over former champion William and Cory Hatred. Doozer defeated the number heel in all of e-wrestling in Mike Polowy for the DWF Dream title.

Almasy groaned.

The Tin Angel…spread his wings.

And as the Tin Angel fell from grace, his destination became an empty one, and his landing, was far from heavenly.

As for Seymour, suddenly his world gripped back onto speed again, as the crowd began to filter in through his ear drums, and the realization of where he was became apparent.

He looked to his right.

A broken Alias beside him.

And of such a mind, where only one thing was possible for Almasy to do with any sort of degree of execution.

The Chrono Cross

Almasy’s signature, Crossed-Legs Half Boston Crab, to which he rolled up to no real resistance from Alias, yet.

Until it was locked in.

Instantly, Almasy’s weak joints nearly buckled from the pressure of Alias, but he put every last ounce into it, as he wretched back with all he had and gripped on for his life…Almasy’s nails digging in so tight, that they drew blood.

Alias screamed in pain…the ring ropes, too far.

Escape? No enough strength.

Maybe he’ll give up?

Yes…

I’ll hold on forever if I have to.

Alias struggled…but Almasy gripped with all he could, his heart pumping faster than it had ever done before, nearly bursting through his chest such was a strain it was under…as the arena went silent for the two men in the ring.

For Almasy, total darkness, his windows to the world were completely shut, he didn’t want to see anything…it would use up to much energy to process such an image.

For Original Pulp…Alias eyes were fixed on everyone, and noone the pain became numbing…the feeling in his legs began to wonder, as his body shut down, and yet, his eyes were drawn to someone in the crowd, as the yelling stopped, and he looked on.

Izzy.

He peered into her eyes, before fixing his sight to her tiny mouth, as she uttered, “silly bigby.”

Alias…smiled.

His face now buried into the rings canvas, it’s stench immune to such nostrils.

This wasn’t what he came to End Game for.

He, Chris Sheppard, had been down this road before.

A moment of clarity.

The pain was gone.

As was the crowd.

The ring, empty.

And all that stood in front of him, an empty arena of red seats, but one small girl.

His reason.

…

“I quit…”

The chiming bell sang, as the arena raised the roof.

Almasy, fell to the mat…every molecule of energy was sapped from his body, every tendon and atom in his body ached…his mind unable to compute what had just happened.

Alias, turned around and lay on his back, wiping the sweat from his brow and rubbing his calfs of blood, he pondered…and then smiled once again, as he turned to his right to see the victor.

They shared a moment.

Alias laughed, breathing heavily…

“…you’ll make some champion..”

Using every ounce of lifeblood in him, he smiled.

“…thanks…”

As the referee picked Almasy to his feet, he looked down at Alias who winked back at him…as Alias looked to the heavens, the noise in the arena deafened him, as the fans hailed the newest successor to the throne.

Some people say that Champions are made, not born.

Tonight, Seymour Almasy was born, and made, a champion of ACW.

All he needs now…is the proof.

…

NEWS FROM CWO’S WEBSITE:

In a match this passed Thursday night with Johnny Vandal, Chazz Mendel injured his knee after falling out of the ring during the match. The injury was rumored to be an ACL tear, but was quickly dispelled after an MRI conducted this Friday came back negative for any damage to the ACL or MCL, but diagnosed as a knee sprain. Mendel was unable to be reached for comment, but upon hearing the news of his brother’s injury, Reg Mendel Jr. issued this statement.

“Well when you live by the sword sooner or later you’re gonna die from it.”

Doctors have ruled Mendel out of action for the next four to six weeks.

GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING (GCW)

Global Championship Wrestling may have spent the last few weeks submerged in a Dangerous Games-induced state of hysteria, but elsewhere several of the company’s biggest names have been blazing a hot streak right through Primetime Central’s returning GTT event.

GCW United States champion elect AXEL Action may have had to pull out of his first round clash due to illness, but his absence proved fruitful for newcomer Aaron Nothings as their three-way with Joshua Kosidlo turned into a one-on-one contest, and Just Wrestling mainstay Nothings barely broke a sweat to overcome the former Global competitor. Elsewhere in the Shakespeare bracket, GCW’s returning Puppetmaster, James Varga, literally destroyed Just Wrestling “talent” Skylar Montgomery in a relatively one-sided first round clash.

Two of GCW’s heaviest hitters in Vivica J. Valentine and 12th seed Andy Murray also tasted success. Valentine overcome the returning “Exceptional” Dave Hurst in the Pynchon bracket, wall PRIME hall-of-famer Tchu fell by the hand of the reigning Global Championship Wrestling in a hotly-contested affair. Murray’s victory over Tchu is the latest in a line of wins over PRIME alumnus; he defeated Wade Elliott and Devin Shakur in last year’s Elite Title Inaugural Tournament.

So successful were GCW wrestlers in GTT7’s first round that Lori Equinox was the only active member of the roster not to pick up a victory, as he lost his three-way dance with Nova and Bryan Dawkins after being pinned by NFW’s Risen Star. Without including AXEL Action’s dropout, GCW’s first round GTT7 record stands at an impressive 4-1. With the rest of PTC may spend their time talking about SCCW’s dominance on the interfed scene, GCW’s quiet impact has gone almost completely unnoticed, and that could definitely work in the favour of Valentine, Murray, Varga, and Nothings.

In the second round, 15th seed Varga will face Just Wrestling alumni Buck Fledger, while Nothings will tackle 7th seed Violence Jack. Murray and Valentine’s matches are still be to drawn.
