A. Kuluha Bacardi announced last night that the first annual WWR End of the Year Awards show will take place on Saturday January 9th from Hack’s Rusty Nail Saloon in Wauseon, Ohio.

The awards will encompass federations associated with EW Torch, EWZine, The Experts, WfWA, F-Wrestling, and EW Nexus.

Here are the awards that will be given out:

So without any further ado, Kirsta Lewis wins yet another title- this one in TFWF, Biggs takes APW’s Overdrive title and Shadow won it from him at the Expert’s Rival Factions PPV show, Alexis Steele wins a three way match to become SCW’s new Women’s champion, and Chris West dethrones Ken Fuqua at G-2’s Supershow.   Which one will be this week’s E-Wrestler of the Week?  Let’s see…

We’ve just gotten word that the Relentless Champion, Khristain Keller, has torn his right bicep as a result of his title match with Aran Thompson. As of now he will be out indefinitely and will be undergoing surgery to fix the tear over the weekend. We’ve also been told that the Relentless Championship will be dealt with on Violence 46 by Black Tom Williams, who will be returning to his post as LoC Commissioner after being absense for the past few weeks. “We signed Tom Elijah not only because of his abilities in the ring, but also his talents for sparking reactions and inciting crowds anywhere he goes,” Morton Murphy remarked during a press conference late Tuesday afternoon.  “But needless to say, we are fully aware of Mr. Elijah’s checkered past.  There had been incidents before where Elijah allegedly no-showed some events, instigating fans in the parking lot after shows and we recall a former Voss project, BRAND Wrestling, in which he showed up to a match inebriated and projectile vomited all over his competitor.  We’ve gone over his contract carefully and we are taking every precaution to make sure that behavior like this isn’t repeated.  We want be able to tout him as one of our premier athletes and we’re sure he wants the same.”

Via phone, we were able to get a few words with Tom Elijah out of his temporary residence in Rock Springs, WY.  However, it appeared they had caught the new AWE superstar at a bad time.

“I’m grateful for this opportunity, but you’ll have to forgive me,” Elijah stated, somberly as the call began.  “I just lost my father in a tragic boating accident.”

This comment would later prove to be a ruse.

“Yup, and my mother is a vampire who fed on others, so I grew up as a part-disgruntled youth, part Wigger rapper, and part desert Shaman who’s come to this new up-and-coming federation to wrestle kangaroos and didgeridoos to hour draws.  I have all this built-up angst and now I have to take it out on my opponents in drunken binges because Daddy didn’t love me.  Oh, right, you guys wanted some words.”

He then proceeded to tell the interviewer something along the lines of performing sexual intercourse upon his own person before the line went dead.

Mr. Murphy was also questioned about their hunt for a television company to field their wrestling product.

“Negotiations, I am pleased to say, are currently underway with One HD.  Flexibility on time slots and dedication to our product were two of our preferred deal breakers, if you will, when it came down to which network we went with.  One HD were willing to bend their rules and shift some slots around just to suit us.

“Hopefully by week’s end we will be able to advise the media that contracts have been signed and our product will be closer to fruition.  We have our production crews put together with the highest in high definition devices to assist us with not only putting together a product you love watch but a product that is beautiful to watch.  I’m sure the relationship between AWE and One HD to put For The Win Television to air will be amicable and beneficial for all parties involved.”
