From FWO’s website:

Concussion threatens Tony Davis’ Career?
Fans of the Fans Wrestling Organization, tag team wrestler Tony Davis was apparently injured during the beginning of September. He was driving to Macon, George, for the September 5th, 2009 ReAction show when he had apparently fell asleep at the wheel.

Davis’ car rolled into the center guardrail, scraping against it for half a mile before Davis’ car spun out and smashed into a wall over a bridge.

Tony Davis suffered a concussion, and went on to compete against Scott Zimmerman.

Apparently, Tony is having long term repercussions from this recent concussion. He has been shown to revert to a different person when struck in the skull. Tony has been shown to possess extreme focus and technical prowess during this state. After being struck a second time in his skull, Davis reverts to his normal self. Disinterested, impartial, and ultimately… bored.

Doctors are investigating this split personality case with extreme haste, and while they’ve cleared Davis to continue his career with the Fans Wrestling Organization, medical sources inside FWO have been told to keep a close eye on one half of the original Team VIAGRA.

Message to Keith Scott Zimmerman

By High Flyer, dictated by Mary-Lynn Mayweather)

HEY MARY! I got shit to say. Get on your iPhone or your laptop or your hoo-dad and start clickety clacking with your fingertips.

Are you ready? You are? You’ve already started transcribing? You’re getting every word? Short hand? That’s good to know. Can you teach me?

No not now. Later. Later.

AMERICA! Keith Scott Zimmerman is a douche.

And I don’t mean that, oh, Keith Scott Zimmerman is such a prickly arsehole that I find him contemptuous and want him to be shot by a firing squad. Oh no, I’m saying the shape of his body resembles that of a household vagina cleaner. I’m saying the best useful purpose for Keith Scott Zimmerman would be that of a pussy scrubber.

What? You don’t want me to be so vulgar? Well, welcome to my world, because I don’t want Keith Scott Zimmerman as our World Champion. It pisses ME off. OUR WORLD CHAMPION! A self serving, maniacal, NAPOLEON OF A MAN, is our World Champ! It SICKENS me. He makes me want to put a revolver into my mouth and pull the trigger. Slightly off center so I blow a hole through my cheek and the pain takes over my thoughts. Because I don’t want to die knowing KSZ is world champ, and yet I need to inflict pain on myself to forget he exists. And his nose, it’s like a god damn airplane! No, go back. Lowercase the G in God. I don’t believe in him. God isn’t God’s name. I mean, I’m an acrobatic flip floppy spot monkey GOD of a man, but people aren’t going, ‘HEY GOD?! WHAT’S UP?!’ They call me Jack. They call me Fly. They call me Legend.

Cause for over a thousand days I reigned as FWO World Heavyweight Champion, and while times weren’t always good, I did everything I could to improve this place while I had the chance. And you know, for most of that time, we had peace on earth. Civility. And respect… although there was that riot, and then the deaths… and the… y’know scratch whatever I was saying. My championship reign was filled with disaster upon unmitigated disaster.

Which is exactly why, I will do everything in my power, to fill YOUR reign at the top of this promotion, with sorrow, regret, anger, and most of all, disaster upon disaster.

Later tater.

-Me.

1300+ day plus World Champ. And I’ll have it again. Cause Keith Scott Zimmerman is a blowhard. And I’m awesome.

From Hostility’s website:

Misery on the Horizon
With Hostile Violence #45 in the record books, Hostility now has its next Pay Per View event, Misery III, to look forward to. But what can we all look forward to at the event? And what happened during HV#45 that could have any bearing on the upcoming Pay Per View.

The Aversion Title will most definitely be on the line at Misery, however, the competitors may not be exactly who everyone was expecting. Both the World Title and Beautiful (Extreme) Title scenes got a little crazy this week, adding to the bubbling rivalries that surround the two titles. The final verdict was also brought down concerning the goings on between Hooligan and Sean Kage. Will their Misery III match happen or not?

And a new superstar made his on camera debut during Monday night’s broadcast.

Keep all these in mind as you all wait for Misery III, or simply go check out the results for HV#45 to get the low down on what to expect in two weeks time.

News from the PRIME website:

Matt Mills on the Hot Seat

The Twitter age is in full swing in today’s society and now it’s beginning to focus itself on PRIME. More specifically, a post from a respected interview specialist has received quite a bit of attention. As seen on the official PRIME Website message boards, Matt Mills Twitter posts have been included at the top.

Visit Matt Mills Twitter Page by clicking here.

So what, or who, could Matt Mills have seen to make him regret visiting PRIME Headquarters Tuesday? Well I set out to find out in this exclusive for PRIME’s official website.

That’s right, for the first time in a long time, Matt Mills is on the opposite end of the interview microphone and is directly on the hot seat for this one.

TCR: So Matt, your recent Twitter post has left some people wondering just went on in Chicago on Tuesday. Care to elaborate?

Matt Mills: Can’t do that Thomas. Not only would I regret that more than seeing what I saw, but it’s been made clear to me that I should choose my words wisely. I’ll be talking to Lisa Tyler at ReVolution and I’m sure it’s going to involve me keeping my mouth shut.

TCR: So you can’t give us anything here?

Matt Mills: Look, all I can say is that I saw something or someone that I shouldn’t have seen. I wasn’t scheduled to be at Headquarters yesterday and they knew that. So when I showed up unannounced to pick up some personal effects I needed, my encounter happened in the hallway. Simple, yet still something I shouldn’t have been there to experience.

TCR: That’s it?

Matt Mills: That’s it Thomas. Enjoy the show.

Well it wasn’t exactly what I wanted out of putting Matt Mills on the hot seat, but something went down with someone who was at PRIME Headquarters just yesterday.

Rest assured that further happenings involving this situation will be made available immediately on PRIME’s official website courtesy of yours truly, Thomas C. Robinson.

RICHOCHET PRO WRESTLING (RPW)

News from RPW’s website:

Anthony Rigby and Melanie Cohen to Attend Crossfire, Tap N’ Tin News
In news that does not shock many people, Ricochet minority owners Anthony Rigby and Melanie Cohen will attend next week’s Crossfire. This Crossfire will be the final episode televised in either the United Kingdom or Canada, the two biggest ratings draws for RPW. Rigby and Cohen are said to be meeting with the talent and staff individually.

Many believe that such a move might be the precursor for more layoffs or worse a temporary or even a permanent shutdown.

In some of the first good news out of Ricochet in months, the Tap N’ Tin has agreed to terms to allow Ricochet to rent out their facilities at a reduced rate, in order to keep them from moving to another facility. The Tap N’ Tin management is very happy with RPW’s ticket gate, which they receive a small percentage of, on top of the rent, and wish to keep RPW from looking for a new facility. The Tap N’ Tin, in such a short amount of time, has become one of the most loved crowds in Ricochet’s history that, while drawing smaller crowds than when they were at King George Hall, they seem to be more passionate about the product, purchasing almost double in merchandise sales on a regular basis than what the Hall crowd would. Ricochet is also happy with the arrangement and plan on staying at the Tap ‘N Tin for as long as they will have them.

Ricochet Signs New Superstar, Potential MMA Division
Earlier this week, Ricochet signed new superstar Tommy “The Fury” Crimson to a contract. Crimson is yet another example of a new superstar with both a background in professional wrestling and MMA. This brings several superstars to the roster with a MMA background into Ricochet. This prompts speculation that Ricochet maybe interested in starting their own MMA-style division or at least their own version of it. Ricochet is known for doing innovative things with classic matches, so it is not far fetched that they would take an established style and try to do something different with it to help showcase both Ricochet and their superstars.

Next card:
Wednesday, September 23, 2009
Chatham, Kent, England
The Tap ‘N’ Tin
Daniel James let Sean Cain know that the debt that Buzz Stone got in has officially be wiped clean, meaning James is gone from Ricochet forever. However, Ricochet is not out of the woods yet, as this Crossfire will signify what could be the final broadcast of Crossfire, as their television deal in two countries will come to an end.

So Ricochet is having a big send-off for their television show to show what the networks will be missing.

In the main event, “The People’s Hero” Johnny Royal will team with Jason Reed to take on “The Italian Maniac” Antonino Romano and Wilson Dunn, as four people who have issues with each other, and let’s not forget that Reed can cash in his World Championship request at any time.

In other action, Adam Heaton will take on the other member of the Ruff Ryders, Shawn Kelley after their altercation at Crossfire.

And in other action, Rude Boi Kris Jenkins makes his second appearance after an impressive debut, however, this time, he will have a lot stiffer competition as he will face off against Chris Deppe, the other member of the Ruff Ryders.

We here at SCCW are always looking for new talent, we never expected this man to fall into our laps. His name is Adam Huston and he’s coming to us from Southern California. Adam is trained by an SCCW Legend and the father of our current BARBARIC Champion, Jason Steele. We received a video from Jason showing us the young lion’s ability in the ring and we were totally blown away. The young man, against his parents’ orders, has left the University of Pennsylvania to pursue what he hopes is a brilliant career in professional wrestling. Adam will be bringing a new style to SCCW, one that we can guarantee our fans never expected to see in our ring. Using his long time gymnastics and tumbling training, Adam is guaranteeing that his debut will not only be shocking, but also explosive. We called the young man and quickly asked what we can expect from him. Here’s what he had to say:

“You know, Brooke (Laurent, Adam’s long term high school girlfriend) and I are not only excited to be here in Simcoe, but we’re also excited that I’ve finally found a forum to show off my abilities. I hope you’re ready Simcoe, because I’ll see you in Outer Space.”

Located at the Siberian Warehouse

Opening Contest
Singles Match

Darius Iscariot vs. Vincent Williams

Preview: Darius Iscariot over the last several weeks has been forming his own stable, bringing the likes of Xander Gates and Clare Voyant together. However, he hasn’t competed in a Siberian Wrestling ring in quite a while. Therefore, The Warden has put him in a match with Siberian Wrestling’s newest star, Vincent Williams, who has proven himself in recent weeks with a couple of victories under his belt. Can this new Fighter take on the large Iscariot, or will Iscariot’s power and force, both inside and outside of the ring, prove to be too much?

Fatal Four Way Match
Siberian Warehouse Championship

Abbey Spears (c) vs. Stoner vs. Xander Gates vs. Clare Voyant

Preview: Since defeating Alex Rettop for the championship a number of weeks ago, the usually timid Abbey Spears has proven to be a tough competitor, taking on all challengers. It seems that a number of people have taken up her offer- namely Xander Gates and Clare Voyant. Despite losing a number one contender’s match to Stoner, Xander Gates and Clare Voyant have made it known that they want the opportunity to become champion as well, even attacking both Spears an Stoner following a well-earned victory. Spears has a lot on her plate at Desolation- three hungry challengers, all capable of wearing the Warehouse Championship around their waists are now challenging her. Will she be able to defy the odds and retain her championship, or will she fall victim to one of the three challengers?
Grudge Match

Dan Filat vs. Marcus Doyle

Preview: Dan Filat, a man consumed with wealth and fortune, has lost just that in recent weeks. Attempting to figure out just who the culprit is, he sets his targets completely on Marcus Doyle. Doyle denies this, but Filat has already y made up his mind and has challenged Doyle to a match. Doyle, one of the longest tenured fighters on the roster has a lot on his plate coming into this match. Will his high flying abilities be able to topple Filat, or will the former Voyle champion be able to continue his hot streak and pin the fan favorite?

Voyle Championship Match

Neil Climer (c) vs. Jack Purcell

Preview: Since returning to injury shortly following At Any Cost, Jack Purcell has his eyes set on only one thing- the Voyle championship, a title that is always defended in two out of three falls matches to promote wrestling at it’s very best. The champion, Neil Climer, has never backed down from a challenge and is more than ready to take on Purcell. The former HIW wrestler, however, has been nothing but a thorn on the side of Climer in recent weeks, going as far as causing him matches and even posing with his championship! Purcell finally has the opportunity to prove to the world that he is Voyle championship material…the question now is if he can actually win the gold.

Non-Title Match
Kitt Kennedy & Steve Keirn vs. Sam Horrey & Iscariot
–Once again Chris Slater has took to teaming enemies up together, only this time it’s on both sides! Last week the tag titles changed hands and were won by an unlikely team, this week they team again and face off against gold rush opponents! This should be crazy

Singles Match
Jackson Walker vs. Quantum Kabuki
–Jackson Walker is hungry for gold but standing in his way is Quantum Kabuki who still has his eyes on Hardcore gold. These two will go head to head, whoever wins could certainly get put in the running for a title shot!

Singles Match
Tyrone Kidd vs. Billy Rodgers
–Last week Billy Rodgers impressed everyone with his debut win over a former Tag Team title holder, tonight he once again faces a former tag champion. That champion is the returning Tyrone Kidd… Question is, where has Tyrone been?

Non-Title Triple Threat Match
Darren Revel vs. Andy Titsuhiro vs. Ravi Moon
–Last week Andy Titsuhiro conned his way in to a main event at Gold Rush and beat Ravi Moon all in the same night. In this huge match Tits, Moon and the Universal champion battle it out in a main event triple threat match. This should be a great one!

Intercontinental & Television Championship Unification
Gary “The Hitman” Reece (Intercontinental © ) vs. Serena (Television © )

ALL-STAR CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING (ACW)
-The Wake
September 11, 2009

Rumours are flying around the eWrestling universe about just who will be turning up and just who will be competing on the night. We can exclusively tell you to expect a number of surprises for the show, and also that the ACW AV staff have been very very busy over the past two weeks.

But what we are all interested in, is just who will be walking into the squared circle. Here is the card for the Wake:

ACW Scorpion Championship
Five Stages of Grief Match
Alias (c) vs. Khristain Keller

Spirit of ACW #1 Contender Match
Chris Moliano vs. (Participants yet to be announced)

ACW Tag Team #1 Contenders Match
The Kingdom (Jamie and Danny King) vs. The Sex Symbols vs. PITS vs. Milehigh Club vs. Misfit Toys

For a Scorpion Fighting Championship Title Shot
Scorpion Scramble – Most Pinfalls Wins (30 mins)
Iceman vs. Landon Stevens vs. Jack Johnson vs. Jack Harris vs. Rory Hayes

ACW Tag Team Championship Match
Heirs of Wrestling vs. The First Airbourne

ACW World Championship Match
Max Danger (c) vs. Brian Spaes vs. Andrew Sharp

So there you have it.

Six epic matches, and also remember that the Scorpion Championship match will be FIVE matches itself!!

It’s sure to be one hell of a show.

ACTION PACKED WRESTLING (APW)
-New Tour Schedule released

Action Packed Wrestling for the first time, will tour Europe for 5 shows. APW will start their tour off on September 16th in France and will end the European tour on October 14th in Moscow Russia before heading over to Japan for our One Night in Hell Pay Per View, set to take place on October 25th. This event took place in Japan last year, and with the big success of the show, a deal was made that this PPV would take place in Japan every year. One Night is Hell is the only APW Pay Per View where every match is a gimmick match

To see the rest of the tour schedule, go to the following link
http://apwprez.proboards.com/index.cgi?b….splay&thread=37

-Overdrive Card announced

The card for the first Overdrive of the European tour has been released today. 6 match will take place. Biggs will defend his newly won Overdrive title in a Gauntlet match. A big tag match will take place as Slade teams up with a returning Assassin to take on Michael Lively and Streets Wilson. And with what happened in the Shockwave Main event, Jesse Nunez will face off against Pence Weatherlight.

-One Night in Hell Main Event

With Level One retaining the APW World Heavyweight Title at Shockwave, Pence Weatherlight has cashed in is rematch clause from his loss at Test for the Best and at One Night in Hell, it will be Level One defending the title against Pence Weatherlight. What gimmick match will this be? Tune into the up coming Overdrives to find out. With these two at each others throats since May, this match can very well be the end to this feud.

-2 Wrestlers officially back with APW

At Shockwave, at the conclusion of the Chris Cyrus/Slade Craven match, Assassin showed up after the match, while Biggs and Chris was about to burn Slade to a crisp and saved Slades life. Also by Defeating President Jeff at Shockwave, Michael Lively has won back his contract with APW. In the weeks leading up to this match at Shockwave, Lively was wrestling without a contract and not getting paid for those matches, in an attempt by Jeff to Lively for turning his back on the company back at Rasslemania V.

-APW Superstar wins major award

The world famous Roughkut, for the last 3 years (from by brief research) has inducted people into the RK Hall of Fame for various things.
FANS WRESTLING ORGANIZATION (FWO)

FROM FWO.COM:
FWO.com has received exclusive word that superstar and fWo Cruiserweight Champion Xin Xin Xiong, 25, has been detained by Atlanta Police Department on unnamed charges. It is rumored amongst insiders that due to the nature of their arrest, just moments after coming through baggage handling at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and the fact that no bail has been granted at any price suggests that Mr. Xiong is being held in question of very serious allegations.

What this means for the FWO, and its Cruiserweight division, remains to be seen.

Stay tuned as there is a strong rumor that a TEAM of fighters has also just been signed!

-As the Las Vegas fans begin piling into the Mandalay Bay Events Center for Monday Night Mayhem tonight, HOWrestling.com has just learned that General Manager Ryan Faze is missing in action!

Many are wondering what exactly the hold up is as Faze is always one to arrive early to his shows, so speculation is abound…

We’ve heard everything from Faze going deep in a poker tournament at The Rio, to a special visit from the Illustrious Face-Eater, to even a drug overdose!!!

We certainly hope it isn’t the latter, but if Faze doesn’t arrive shortly, the “dogs” in the locker room are sure to run WILD on Mayhem!

We’ll keep you posted as this story develops with under an hour left to go before Mayhem begins airing!

In Brawlers On a Budget’s latest Webisode, In Your Gymnasium 7, it was announced that John Leary, a former booker in such promotions as Pinnacle of Insane Wrestling, Tidal Wave Wrestling, and the World Wrestling League, will be assuming head booking duties for the company.

He also promised to take BOB in a new direction, backing away from their “parody” branding, in favor of a more traditional promotion, running shows in the Western United States.

“You want wrestling? You’ll GET wrestling. You want hardcore violent entertainment? You’ll GET it. You want attitude? We’ve GOT your f***ing attitude. Do you want to experience pure chaos? Do you want a wrestling revolution? It’s time. For BOB. To get. Hardcore.”

BOB’s latest On-Demand, Send Us Money: Leader of The Pack, featuring a one-night six-man tag team tournament, is also available on BOB’s Web site, and gives viewers a taste of the new hardcore direction.

In other news, Kobe Gyant became the new ONLY WORLD CHAMPION THAT MATTERS at the Toadlena, New Mexico house show. Readers report that the Toadlena show was excellent, and featured at least two ****-calibre matches. (Ted note: Bootleg, please?) Sam, Sam the Dancing Yam recently won the Swiss Army Belt, and Harvey The Hardcore Hippo won a deathmatch tournament to capture BOB’s version of the hardcore title.

Ted’s analysis: Interesting move. In talking with a few people in the company, they aren’t looking to go the garbage route, more along the lines of Extreme Championship Wrestling circa 1995-97. They also want to showcase good wrestling of all styles, be it lucha libre, classic, technical, or hardcore. Leary has a decent rep in the wrestling world, but has been out of the game for quite a few years as a full-time booker, working in various online media and entertainment ventures. Many are excited about the new direction, as it opens up a lot more possibilities. It will be interesting to see if the roster undergoes an overhaul or if they bring in new faces to get away from their comedy roots, though it should be noted in the past Leary has never shied away from comedic elements, even in one of the most notorious hardcore leagues that ever ran in the Northeast U.S.

Ted Caldweller note: Due to the impending demise of GeoCities, E-Wrestling Torch is proud to repost some classic Schmucks material on our site. Enjoy!

The “Not” Keith Schmucks Rant for Brawlers On a Budget’s “Pay-Per-View (On Pay-Per-View)”

Todays Rant comes from the soon-to-be defunct BOB (Brawlers On a Budget) wrestling federation. This was their final PPV before the perpetually finacially-challenged organisations coffers ran dry for the last time. The hook for this fed… every match is a comedy match! And so, let’s check out “Pay Per View! (On Pay Per View)”

-We were LIVE (On Pay-Per-View) from the Pay-Per-View Arena in Bovine, Alabama. The theme music is “The Final Countdown”… Somewhat appropriate, as it turned out. Your announcers are Mike “The Monotone” Monroe, Scotty Whatbody and some guy in a penguin suit called Coma. They hype the show and swear a bit. (Or, in Comas’ case, make strange noises and swear.)

-The Jobber World Order arrive at ringside. They insult the fans and announce the formation of their new stable… The Right To Suck. They leave to mass indifference and theme music of hideous, ear-splitting noise. (Possibly by Limp Bizkit.)

Micheal McIntosh vs. Brandon (“Not Big Enough For The Big Boys” Light-Heavyweight Title Match)

Coma has slipped the ring announcer a card, so this is announced as;

Micheal McIntosh vs. Brandon vs. Coma (“Not Big Enough For The Big Boys” Light-Heavyweight Title Match)

Coma rolls in, then rolls out again… and halfway up the aisle. Interesting. Brandon hiplocks McIntosh and works the knee. Low dropkick and kneebreaker as Coma returns to ringside. Then joins the Spanish announcers. Okaaayy… McIntosh reverses a whip and clotheslines Brandon. He misses an elbowdrop, Brandon hits a nice Asai moonsault for 2. Coma heads up as Brandon nails a Snow Plow. Coma breaks the cover with a truely insane no-look twisting plancha that wipes out everyone. Double noggin knocker from McIntosh, he lays in some wimpy chops. Coma monkeyflips him, then kips up into a standing dropkick of Brandons. Bradon nails a tonado DDT on McIntosh. Coma breaks the cover at 2. Coma drops a headbutt on McIntosh, Brandon breaks the cover. They exhange chops, Brandon slams Coma over the top rope. McIntish clotheslines out Brandon and attempts a plancha. Brandon dropkicks him on the way down. Wild! McIntosh tries to walk out, Brandon gives him a sloppy press on the rampway. They brawl, Coma springboards off the rail and corkscrews… into the crowd. Again… interesting. A middle-aged woman arrives, (JUDY BAGWELL! RUN!) and drags McIntosh backstage. It’s his mom. The match is called a no-contest. *3/4 Good action, weird ending.

Kamikazie(sic) Ken vs. Insano Mano

My Spanish isn’t great, but doesn’t that translate as… Insane Hands? This match was taped from Suicida, Mexico. The announcers hype it as “Too Violent For Network TV”. E-C-DUB! It’s Mano’s hometown, so he gets the big babyface pop. Ken makes his entrance… on a motorcyle. (I wondered what the ramp was for…) Manos risks vehicular death by meeting Ken with a mid-air spear over the top rope. Holy fucking shit! The motorcyle crashes into the ring as both men rise. They exchange chairshots. A quick clip, three minutes have passed, they’re still chairshotting each other. Mano finally goes down, Ken arranges furniture. He sets up a ridiculously contrived table pyramid, three layers high. Mano brings out a cash register from under the ring and “Shows Ken The Money” with it. (And thus enters the “Keithies” poll for Most Innovative International Object of the Year.) Ken blades as Mano sets up a table and seasons it with salt and vinegar. Ken uses some razor-tipped playing cards(!) on Mano. (I just report the news, folks…) Blind charge, Ken runs into a twisting spinebuster through a table. Which explodes. Ouch. They make it to the ring, Mano hits a spinning heel kick for 2. He slams Ken onto the wrecked motorcycle, then dropkicks him through a propped-up table. Blind charge, Ken backdrops Mano into the front row. Ken heads up and hits a corkscrew moonsault into the fans. Yes, Virginia, these men ARE insane. Mano drags Ken back to the ring and deposits him on the top buckle. He proceeds to hit a top-rope DDT through the table pyramid. Kens head bullseyes a barb-wired wrapped chair as well. Which was electrified. And explodes. Ken was 32. We suddenly cut to split-screen as both men begin to rise somehow. At the pay-per-view itself, Insano Mano is punking out Brandon in revenge for being called a “jobber” in one of Brandons interviews. He dumps Brandon on the Spanish Announce table, (Of course!) and we spot Ken. He’s in the rafters of the arena. Cue the Stunt Bump as Ken delivers… a 990 Ken-Ton Bomb. (Setting a new record, apparently… for idiocy) As EMTs arrive, we go back to Mexico. Ken is using bowling pins on Mano in the crowd, but takes a rana down a set of stairs. Mano busts out a balcony moonsault… which misses. Mano takes a face-first bump onto concrete. Double Ouch! Cute spot as Ken calls for a time-out because he’s “Got something in his eye”. Manos spears the blinded Ken all the way from the arena floor to the loading dock. (Now THAT’s a spear!) They mount a scaffold as a truck full of exploding tables pulls in. Ken powers out of a powerbomb and hits a Kenny Kutter into the trucks flatbed. One stock footage explosion later, Ken covers for the pin. **3/4 Wayyyy over the top, but in a good way.

-Commisioner Billy Polar arrives to commentate during the upcoming “Billy Polar Memorial Swiss Army Belt Tournament”.

George vs. Zilla (Swiss Army Tourney First Round Match.)

Jeez, doesn’t anybody in this fed have a last name? Zilla rides a skateboard to the ring, George is carried in. Why? His gimmick is… he’s dead.(?!) There’s one idea Russo never though of… Zilla stomps a mudhole in George and applies a slightly pointless sleeperhold. The commentators cover for the lack of action by revealing the Undertakers stalker… well, speculating, at least. T-T-T-Tatanka? That would have been interesting. Zilla tries a Boston Crab, but we’re in Alabama, and George is dead, so no dice. He heads up for a missile dropkick, but George won’t get up. So he heads back down and takes Georges head off with a knee. Literaly. I mean, he rips the dummies.. sorry, his opponents head off! Georges partner Lenny re-attaches his head as I check the expiry date on my perscription drugs. Zilla applies an abdominal stretch variant, making George appear to be scratching his ear with his own foot. If he wasn’t dead, that’d really hurt! Zilla piledrives George, then press-slams his skateboard on Georges noggin for the pin. *3/4 It was a squash, but the guys dead, so what did you expect?

“Mr Thursday Night” J.C Long vs Mike Dangerous (Swiss Army Tourney First Round Match)

JC initially refuses to fight his friend, and tries to walk out. Dangerous sticks around, they get into a heated, though pointless debate, Dangerous suckershots Long. Running powerslam, Dangerous follows up by simply standing on Longs crotch. He baits the fans, allowing a roll-up for 2 from Long. He heads up, Dangerous hiptosses him off the top for 1. They suddenly get into a grade-school slapfight, complete with NIPPLE TWISTS OF DOOM, before Dangerous busts out an airplane spin. (Forgetting to sell it himself. *Sigh*) He celebrates with a bizzare Micheal Jackson impersonation, allowing JC to roll him up for the pin. 3/4*

-The Dungeon of Dumb (Sasquatch and Massawa, The Somalian Giant w/The Flaskmaster) vs. Massivly Packaged (#1 Contendership for the “You Gotta Have Friends” Tag Team Championship and the “Are You Out Of Your Frickin’ Mind” Hardcore title.)

Sasquatch and Jim start out. “Massive Man” Jim is the current Hardcore champion, and for some reason “Sasquatch” is a dead ringer for Frankensteins Monster. Go figure. Sasquatch headbutts Jim out of his boots, then gets a big boot. Jim baseball slides through Sasquatchs’ legs and hits a dropkick. A second, Sasquatch still won’t go down. “Totally Packaged” Josh comes in, double dropkick sends Sasquatch down. Josh tags in, hitting a nice cross bodyblock off the top for 2. Sasquatch catches Josh as he charges blind and chokeslams him. Massawa (Who probably weighs about 75 pounds soaking wet) is tagged in. He bops Josh with his wooden mask, then rubs tribal paint in his eyes to blind him. Innovative to say the least! The Dungeon of Dumb uses some old-school heel tatics, including the old “Clap your hands to simulate a tag” schtick as Josh plays Ricky Morton. He eventually slips out of a slam and jawjacks Sasquatch. Hot tag Jim, he brings out the HARDCORE WEAPONS OF DOOM from under the ring. With the commentators gleefully breaking kayfabe, we gets some rubber-tipped barb-wire shots, then a pre-cut broom crotching of Massawa. This triggers an all-out brawl, even bringing in The Flaskmaster. Sasquatch uses the Obligatory Roadsign on Jim, Massawa goes upstairs. Then, in a moment of unsurpassed surrealty, he gets caught on the updraught of a ceiling fan and splashes UPWARDS! We cut to a commercial(?!?). When we return, Massawa is nowhere in sight, apparently stuck on the roof. Josh is suddenly arrested for trying to chat up an underage girl and it’s down to Sasquatch versus Jim. Sasquatch hits a big boot and pins for the Hardcore title. He (SWERVE) turns on his manager, then (SWERVE!) takes off his mask to reveal he’s not Sasquatch, but “The Caprind Kid” Herb Romaine . A cut backstage shows the real Sasquatch being guarded by Betty-Lou, Herbs… sheep. **1/2 Some good wrestling among the wackiness… and damn entertaining.

Pain and Pleasure vs. The Ambulance Jockeys (“You Gotta have Friends” Tag Team Championship steel cage match)

Nurse Heidi joins the commentary team as the the opening brawl breaks out. Hilarious intro for Pain and Pleasure, by the way… The only tag team I’ve ever seen that has a former porn star and a hockey player teaming up. Ambulance Jock Garry Greene gets caught and powerslammed by Bannister. Greene tags out to Barry Brown, Bannister hits him with some CANADIAN VIOLENCE and runs him into the cage wall. (The fed is so low-budget, there’s three chicken wire walls and one of blue steel bars!) Brown blades… or at least dribbles ketchup on his face. The commentators get into a strange debate over whether or not Heidi is pregnant. (Made stanger by Coma, who sounds like Perry Saturn with a British accent. You’re welcome.) Barry reverses things in the ring… and Mike Monroe quotes Yours Truely!! (Badly… “Playing Ricky Martin”? Yeesh!) The Jocks double-team Sir Hungalot as Bannister debates things with the ref. Hungalot makes a hot tag, Bannisters a house of fire. He cleans house, Greene blades after a shot into the steel. Bannister hits the Slap Shot on Greene. The ref is out of position, getting an eventual 2. Brown makes the save, allowing the tag. Bannister blocks a forearm and blantantly lowblows Brown. The Jocks double-team again, drawing a bladejob from Bannister as Hungalot is brought in. Big ol’ brawl breaks out, the ref gets bumped. Hungalot hits The G-Spot (Once more, I AINT going there!) on Brown, Greene makes the save. He rams Bannister into the cage, then DDT’s Hungalot and rolls Brown onto him. The ref revives, Bannister falls onto them to break the cover at 2 and a bit. Hungalot hits a double clothesline and powerbombs Brown for 2 amd a half before Greene saves. He slams Hungalot, Bannister breaks it up at 2. He piledrives Brown for 2. The ref is just counting anything at this point. Bannister drops his head, Brown punts him through the ropes. Greene hits a neckbreaker on Hungalot. The Jocks head to the top of the cage for the “Mass Casualty” diving headbutts. They both miss. Hungalot covers Brown for a protracted three-count to retain. *** Probably the best match so far in terms of pure wrestling.

-Before the next match, a second cage is added… the Big Blue One this time. The Guest Referee, Homicidal Hank is announced. Then the Special Enforcer, Bohemoth.

Sillicone M. Plants vs. douja (Double Layer Cage Match)

The announcers hype this one as one of the most protracted, violent feuds of all time. Bell rings, FINGER POKE OF DOOM from douja. Plants sells it like he’s been shot, literally jumping three feet in the air. douja drops a wussy elbow for 3. No match, as it’s a SWERVE! Plants, douja and Hank proceed to triple-team Bohemoth, even knocking out his glass eye. (Which they play a quick game of hacky-sack with. Nice.) Commisioner Polar runs-in… and joins in the beatdown of Bohemoth. Plants gets on the stick and runs down Bohemoth, accusing him of holding everyone else down in a previous federation. (The oddly-named “Stereotype Wrestling Federation”… well, that fits, I guess.) The Polar gets on the mic and decrees that Pain and Pleasure defend their titles against Plants and douja here and now… or they’re fired. Needless to say, P&P head to ringside in a hurry. And so we have;

Pain and Pleasure vs. Sillicone M. Plants and douja

P&P come in swinging, as Hank joins the commentators. Plants is dinged off the steel as Hungalot beats on douja. Cute spot as Hank keeps leaving the table to stomp Bohemoth some more. He also announces the stable name… the “Not Quite Millionaires Club”… well, it’s a low-budget fed, I suppose. Plants tags in douja, who gets knocked down by Bannister. He tags in Hungalot, top rope elbow misses. douja nails the “Chronic Neck Pain” piledriver for 2, Bannister saves. Plants KO’s Hungalot with a loaded black glove behind the refs’ back, douja covers for the pin and the titles. *1/4 for the match, **1/2 for the buildup and swerves that sent the fans into a frenzy. Good booking.

-Postmatch, “The Smooth Operator” Plants and “15 Inches of Chocolaty Goodness” douja become the team of “Smooth and Chocolaty”.

-Backstage, Da Sassy Bitch confronts Billy Polar. Polar decks him. The ever-loqucious Polar then heads out to ringside to cut a pre-match promo. He introduces his hand-picked referee Raoul Ramon Ramirez, and his guest timekeeper… Master P. Luckily the BOB BigBOSS brains Master P with a ringbell after one “Hooty Hoo”. Polars opponent, The Violent Pacifist, suddenly rolls out from under the ring. Staredown ensues, before simultaneous ball-kickings start the match.

Billy Polar vs. The Violent Pacifist (Swiss Army Belt and BOB Commisionership Match)

They brawl after the ballshots, with The Pacifist gaining the upper hand. Gorilla press, Billy holds on and both men fall to the floor. Ramirez takes a donut break to avoid counting out his man. They brawl on the outside, The Pacifist gets gutbusted on the guardrail. (Which warps… cheapo fed!) VP no-sells, hitting a snap suplex. Back to the ring, The Pacifist sets up for his “Nine Inch Nailer” finisher as douja tries to make a run-in. He’s intercepted by the Kent State Krew as Rameriz plays Evil Ref with a ten-second two-count. Polar small packages VP, Ramirez plays Incompetant Ref as he slow-counts for 2. Polar yells at him, then hits a spinning heel lariat and corksrew Asai moonsault. Polar hits a brainbuster (AKA “The Aneurysm”) for a quick-counted 3. The Pacifist gets in Ramirez’s face. Ramirez, seemingly unable to tell the two apart, reverse his decision and allows the match to continue. They break out the weapons, Billy bringing a tranquillizer gun(!) into the match, VP producing “Mr Bat”. (A baseball bat, of course.) Scotty Whatbody tries to run interferance from the announce position and gets nailed with Mr Bat. VP KO’s Billy and covers for 3. *3/4 Goofy as hell, but some solid wrestling… although with these guys, that whole “wrestling” thing seems incidental to affairs.

-Postmatch, Billy chews out Ramirez, who shrugs and responds “All you gringos look alike to me.” Polar passes out.

Donald McKillalot vs Mystery Opponent (ONLY WORLD TITLE THAT MATTERS Title Match)

The BigBOSS’es midget sidekick, The Li’lBOSS is announced as Guest Timekeeper for this one. McKillalot gets a big intro, then headbutts the announcer after he’s announced as hailing from “Scotland, England”. The Li’lBOSS quickly takes over the announcing duties. He announces McKillalots opponent as The Tiger, a former two-time Stereotype Wrestling Federation Intergalactic Champion. Huge crowd response, big intro, bell rings.

Kick.

Wham.

McPiledriver.

McKillalot retains after a leisurly three-count. DUD Must be a private joke…

And we’re done.

The Bottom Line: Well, don’t expect wrestling classics or four-star matches, but if you’re in the mood for something goofy, this would be right up your alley. All comedy matches… but GOOD comedy matches, if you know what I mean.
