Manager of the Month: Murray Monroe, Defiance
-Monroe led Joe Drago to a big win at Dream Wrestling’s WfWA Inter-fed match and followed it up with a DQ victory over WfWA World Champion Cobra later in the month.

Other Notables:
-Tina Davis, Shootfire Pro Wrestling- manages SPW Women’s Champion Heather Owens

-Jill-Berg, Political Championship Wrestling- manages Yamamoto Tanaka

-Katsidy, Sin City Championship Wrestling- manages ‘The River Rat’ Lane Stevens

——————–

Heel of the Month: Victor Hades, Action Packed Wrestling
-Hades can only be called- evil. What’s done to poor Jesse Nunez over the past few months is heinous but yet Hades also holds one of the lessor APW titles as well.

Other Notables:
-Trey Vincent, All-Star Championship Wrestling- for putting a bounty out on Alias and the ACW title

-James Varga, Sin City Championship Wrestling- slowly cobbling together a nefarious plan to dominate SCCW.

-August Monday, Sin City Championship Wrestling- swerve of the year so far. August joined up with Xavier Kannon and Lane Stevens against Aimz, Desade, and Jared Sykes.

——————

Face of the Month: Alias, All-Star Championship Wrestling
-Alias has Trey Vincent nipping at his heels and an ever increasing bounty on his head- also courtesy of TV. Alias just keeps on chugging along and now is lined up for a huge match against the #2 ranked wrestler in the world- Shawn Jessica Hart.

Other Notables:
-Scarlett Willis, Simcoe County- Simcoe County’s champion trying to fight off Lauri Verne, Justin Rose, and Aaron Blaize and finally has an ally in Chris Champion.

-Jared Sykes, Sin City Championship Wrestling- a huge part of the big storyline involving Stevens, Monday, Kannon, Aimz, and Desade.

———————

Character of the Month: Spacely, Sin City Championship Wrestling
-came out for a match against August and April Monday wearing April’s panties on his head. Nuff said.

———————

Angle of the Month: Sin City Championship Wrestling- battle between Xavior Kannon, Lane Stevens, and Auggie Monday vs. Aimz, Desade, and Sykes.

Other Notables:
-High Octane Wrestling: Mario Maurako-Bobbinette Carey angle. Carey has amnesia and Maurako, innovator of the ‘whack-a-meter’ somehow convinced her to marry him.

-All-Star Championship Wrestling: the four man battle at the top for the ACW title between Keith Scott Zimmerman, Alias, Trey Vincent, and Shawn Jessica Hart.

-Simcoe County: Simcoe County Champion Scarlett Willis versus the world…or in this case, Lauri Verne, Aaron Blaize, and Justin Rose.

———————

Show of the Month: Global Division of Wrestling’s Civil War PPV
-featured Glory Braddock/Angela Jameson grudge match that saw Braddock regain the GDW World Title. Also continued the ongoing Suffrage angle for control of GDW.

Other Notables:
-no brand Wrestling’s Ghost PPV- featuring the Saunders/Voss 59:59 classic.

-New Era Destructivity II- feature Chaos v Doe hardcore classic

-Wrestling Midwest’s Graveyard Shift 111- featuring the WfWA World Tag Team title match between WMW’s Hardcore Icons and Defiance’s Team Danger.

-Sin City Championship Wrestling’s Temptation Edmonton

——————-

Match of the Month: nbW Keystone Title Match- Spike Saunders vs. J. Leslie Voss
-Saunders and Voss throw haymakers back and forth for 59 minutes and 59 seconds of a 60 minute match before Saunders pulls off the victory at the absolute last possible millisecond.

Other Matches of Note:
-WfWA World Tag Team Title Match: WMW’s Hardcore Icons(Valora/Umbrage) vs. Defiance’s Team Danger(Greer/Lightning)

-GDW Triple Threat Match- Raine vs. Michaels vs. L. Wolfe- GDW Civil War PPV

-Vox Nihili vs.The Heirs of Wrestling for the ACW Tag Team Title

-Chaos vs. John Doe- New Era Destructivity II

————————-

Wrestler of the Month: Desade- Sin City Championship Wrestling
-winner of the GTT7 Tournament by defeating Garbage Bag Johnny and ‘Violence Jack in the finals. Also part of one of the best ongoing angles in wrestling right now.

Other Notable Wrestlers:
-Samanatha Raine, Global Division of Wrestling- won the huge Civil War match at GDW’s Civil War PPV.

-Valora Salinas, Wrestling Midwest- picked up the WfWA Tag Team Title (with Umbrage) to go along with her WMW Great Lakes Title.

-Talon, Dream Wrestling Federation- moved to DWF from Hostility and won the DWF World Title.

Wrestler Spotlight on: Alias – All-Star Championship Wrestling

Alias (c) vs. Scott Riktor- ACW Courage 105
And as Alias stepped into the center of the ring he locked eyes with the Man Known as Rage. The Pulp Champion’s body was tense. This was a man he never would have expected to face tonight, he was very much like Alias, but certainly very different. Alias could only wait for Riktor to make the first move… instead, Scott Riktor nodded his head towards the ACW World title.

“You finally get it?”

The Original Pulp Hero had a confused look on his face, and held it for a moment but then shook it off. Henry Irwonsen raised a hand to begin to lay down the rules for the two combatants but Alias was quick to the punch. Quite literally. Forcing the bell to be wrung as quickly as possible, as Riktor stumbled back into the ropes.

DING, DING, DING

See Riktor had to have some ring rust. Even if he didn’t Alias was NOT in the best shape after last week. So therefore, the Pulp Hero had to take the fight to an opponent that he respected very deeply, as quick as possible.

Alias began to lay in a series of rights to the face, catching Riktor off-guard and knocking him into the ropes. Alias set to whip him across, but Riktor reversed it. The Man Known as Rage put his head down, and Alias leapfrogged him and kept going into the ropes. Riktor got up and turned, and Alias, coming off, leapt into the air and blasted him with a flying forearm. Alias made the cover, but Riktor kicked out quickly, before the count even reached two.

As the two men made it to their feet, Alias immediately dove for the freshly recovering LoC Legend’s knee, but Riktor was able to back out of it and spin through. They then locked up, and Alias sent Riktor into the corner with his slight size advantage. Before Ironsides could make a count, Alias whipped the long-time LoC superstar cross- corner, and followed through with a hard clothesline. Riktor was rocked, but still on his feet. Another cross- corner whip, and another clothesline.

A third cross- corner whip, but as Alias ran in for the clothesline, Riktor got a leg up and kicked the World Champion in the face. Alias, rocked, was turned around and staggered forward a step. Riktor moved quickly, hoisting himself up to the second turnbuckle and bulldogging Alias to the mat. Alias was quick to his knees, but still held his forehead with one hand. SR kept up the offensive, leaning back into the ropes and coming off quickly – dropped a leg on the back of Alias’s neck.

He grabbed him by the arm and pulled him to his feet, and whipped him into the ropes. Alias came off the ropes, and ducked a clothesline. He bounded back, and Riktor leapfrogged over his head. Legend of LoC went for a backdrop, but he dropped his head a moment too soon, and the ACW Hall of Famer was able to put on the brakes and hook his body for a wicked high angle powerbomb, but Riktor fought it valiantly, with his veteran knowledge, hooking his legs behind Alias’s neck, and took him down with a headscissors.

Riktor shot to his feet and began to lay the boots to Alias as he stumbled to his feet. The Man Known as Rage carelessly walked in, as Alias gave him a hard knee to the midsection, causing Scott to bend over, setting him up for a tornado implant DDT. Alias jumped to his feet, lifting his arms in the air… he was starting to get pretty damn pumped. He picked the Riktor up and executed a snap suplex… before dropping down for the cover.

One!

Two!

Riktor kicked out! This was an athletic contest between two well-trained and well-conditioned veteran competitors, and both men knew that they couldn’t forget that in spite of all the additional factors… Alias’s gauntlet of insanely tough challengers to his Championship and Riktor’s one night back into the ring, among others, that there was still a man in front of them that they had to defeat. Simple as that in all of its complications. With that in mind, Alias stalked Riktor as he got to his feet, and when the all-around assassin paused momentarily to shake some of the discomfort out of his leg, Alias pounced, tackling Riktor around the waist and driving him to the mat.

Alias began clubbing Riktor with forearm shots to either side of his face. Lesson two, take down the faster man and keep him down. Submissions where just a little ways away from this, no doubt. Alias rose up and off of Riktor and yet, the Man Known as Rage moved with no hesitation, getting surprisingly steadily to his feet. And it was with no thought for his well-being that he moved into a collar-and-elbow tie-up with Alias. The two men struggled briefly for control, but Alias’s superior strength, as they where both around the same size, combined with punishment he had already doled out, proved to be enough to allow him to take control, pulling Riktor towards him and ducking around behind his challenger before locking in a half nelson on Riktor’s right arm.

Turning so that his back was to the nearest corner, Alias launched Riktor through the air, intent on sending his foe crashing into the turnbuckle. However, it wasn’t meant to be, as Riktor had pushed off of the canvas as Alias was suplexing him, which gave him enough momentum that he could flip backwards and land a la Spider-man on the second rope, almost slipping but still luckily keeping his footing. And as a shocked Alias turned, he was met with a hard kick to the stomach.

So much for ring rust, after all.

Scott Riktor, letting go of the top rope that he had used for balance, leapt off of the turnbuckle and drove the Pulp Champion’s head into the ground with a sudden and epic crack of a leaping DDT from the top rope.

Riktor Scale

NEW WORLD CHAMPION?!

Immediately rolling Alias over for the cover, Riktor urged the senior referee to get into position, but he was still only able to get a two-count before Alias draped his foot across the bottom rope.

Irwonsen motioned Riktor off of Alias, and Riktor obliged. Staggering to his feet, Alias turned to find his opponent, only to see his faster and ultimately fresher opponent somehow miraculously on his feet and charging at him. Alias ducked, fearing the worst, but Riktor leap-frogged him. And before the more technical of the two could move, the Riktor’s superlative speed came into play, as he bounced off of the ropes and charged back, leaping into the air and landing on Alias’s neck with a variant on the Thesz press.

Alias tried to brace himself, but the combination of Riktor’s 200-plus pound frame and the momentum of his jump was more than even the weathered fighter’s muscles could stand. Having felled his opponent decisively, Riktor scaled the top rope, hoping perhaps to land the coup de grace that was necessary for him to put Alias away once and for all. When the three-time ACW World Heavyweight champion finally regained his vertical base however, he charged the corner upon which Riktor was perched, only to have the Man Known as Rage sail over his head and catch him with a flipping neckbreaker.

Upon impact, Riktor quickly rolled back to his feet and stalked Alias until he stood back to his feet, only to bring him back down with a scissor kick across the back of his neck. Further hurting his neck. This time, however, Riktor pulled Alias back to his feet and sent a boot into his stomach that kept the Heart and Soul of ACW doubled over. Pushing down on Alias’s head, Riktor placed a knee on the back of the Pulp Hero’s neck, before leaping into the air…and being caught in a cradle for a twisting fisherman’s suplex. However, Alias couldn’t maintain the cradle for a cover, due to size and otherwise stamina restrictions, and both men were forced to lie on the mat and try to regain their wind.

Alias sat up and rubbed at his neck, trying to regain the feeling. Riktor slowly rose up, too, holding his back from the suplex. Alias came to his feet and what he wasn’t expecting was Riktor’s second wind. Alias called for a test of strength, inspired by Riktor’s surely resurgent spirit… and Riktor obliged him. The two men struggled to no avail for several seconds, but then Alias’s slight size advantage once again won out, and he began to force the former member of the Cowboys From Hell to his knees. However, before that could happen, Riktor delivered a hard kick to the side of the Original Pulp Hero’s knee, sending him down instead.

Now enjoying the advantage once more, Riktor wasted no time in leering over Alias, forcing down with all his might and bending the now once again singularly World Champion’s wrists back painfully. He didn’t get this advantage often enough and was taking full advantage. A small smile creased Riktor’s face as he realized that he had this match exactly where he wanted it, but it quickly vanished in the wake of a headbutt to the solar plexus from Alias. Positioning his shoulder in Riktor’s armpit, Alias drove his challenger into the mat with a double-armed Northern Lights suplex. Bridging for the cover, Alias managed the first definite near-fall of the contest, earning a staunch two-count before Riktor could force the bigger man’s bulk off of him.

Both men were quickly back to their feet, and they began to circle one another as the Manchester crowd roared at the clinic that was underway, as each man looked for another opening. Alias quickly shot in for an amateur style takedown, but Riktor sprawled, forcing his entire weight down on Alias’s upper body. Alias powered in through it with a tight latch on waistlock, Alias executed a German suplex, rolling through and executed another one in a breathtaking variation of the traditional sequence.

Before he could execute a third suplex, however, Riktor grabbed his left arm and executed a seated switch, countering directly into an armbar. Wrenching back on Alias’s shoulder, Riktor worked the hold for all it was worth, but due to the weak way the hold was locked in, Alias was able to shift his weight quickly and release himself from the hold.

Alias got to a complete vertical base and Riktor charged and delivered a knee lift to his opponent’s chin, sending Alias back to the mat. Pulling the Pulp Hero back to his feet, Riktor went for a snap suplex, the first of three of what he called The Hat Trick, but Alias blocked with his foot and pushed away, countering with a twisting belly-to-belly suplex of his own. Alias went for the cover from it but didn’t hook the leg of his challenger.

One!

Two!

Th-No!

Yeah, you know he should have hooked that leg. Hindsight is 20/20, I suppose. The crowd was very much behind Alias, but still surprisingly behind Riktor. With Riktor down, Alias had an upper hand. Still clutching his neck, Alias picked the Riktor up, and locked him for a Dragon suplex. He nailed the move, tossing Riktor back quite a few feet in the process on the roll afterwards. Alias lifted his body up and slumped towards the man who had been specifically picked for to make $300,000 from Trey Vincent if he could defeat Alias. He made a cover.

One.

Two.

…

Three!

…

No dice, at least not yet. $300, 000 and a World Championship still in play.

Riktor kicked out, despite what Alias thought was a slow count. Alias voiced his concerns with Irwonsen while he picked up the Riktor. He continued to talk at the senior referee while he tossed Riktor in the corner. Alias laid in some deadly chops into the Riktor’s chest. The Manchester crowd yelled “WHOO!” at each chop. Ahem.

Chop.

WHOO!

Chop.

WHOO!

Chop.

WHOO!

Alias, after a few chops, whipped Riktor across the ring. Riktor hit the turnbuckles chest-first, and then stumbled back. Alias was waiting; he locked him for another german suplex. He nailed it, holding Riktor in the move. The two got up, and Alias picked Riktor up. He placed him on the top rope. What you thought he was going for another german? He’s already gone and done that foo! Alias was going to try something dangerous.

Alias climbed to the top second rope, and started locking the Riktor in for a super fall-away slam. However, the Man Known as Rage seemed to have woken up during this time. He began to hit the Original Pulp Hero with various rights. Alias, who didn’t like this, began to hit back. However, Riktor got the upper hand, as he pushed Alias off the second rope. Alias fell off, landing on his back. Scott readied himself… then flew off the top with a 360 splash. However, Alias was waiting.

He rotated as Riktor hit him and countered it into a small package.

One!

Two!

Thre-No!

The LoC Legend once again kicked out at the last possible second, sending the electric English crowd into a wall of cheers. The two battered warriors got to their feet and once again sized each other up. Scott Riktor smiled, before growling.

“You finally got it.”

“Thank you.” Alias coughed, in reply.

Tonight had been a rough and tumble 17 straight minutes between the two ring warriors. It was then that Riktor took the quick advantage with a kick to the gut, but Alias countered that by sweeping Riktor’s feet from under him.

Riktor was back up in a flash however, and just in time to duck a hard clothesline from Alias. Now behind Alias, Riktor applied a full nelson and lifted Alias straight up, only to have him fall back forward and throw Riktor over with a well-executed arm drag. Riktor, though, was still not all too far gone, and rolled back to his feet. He rushed Alias once more, and reacted instinctively once again with a side kick, only to have Alias catch it and lock him up for a leg capture suplex.

Riktor went up and over, landing on his back once more tonight. Thinking on his feet, Alias pulled Riktor up and grabbed a hold of his waist. The challenger ran forward, towards the rope trying to break the waistlock but Alias held on and rolled out backwards. He was quick onto his feet, and Riktor charged. He was kicked in the stomach.

A-BOMB!

Reversed!

THE FINISHING TOUCH!

Alias reversed that! Then the Pulp Hero sent another harsh knee in Riktor’s gut, he had just taken away Riktor’s last effort… so Alias had to set up the Anarchy’s Lullaby. How about…

High Angle Powerbomb.

Sit-down with a bit of a spike on the end.

Riktor, however, wasn’t going to have any of that. He wanted to go out on top. He hooked his legs around Alias’s head when he was lifted up and powered him over with a hurracanrana-type move, only just not as graceful.

Stamina is a bitch.

Especially when she leaves you.

ONE!

TWO!

Wait, a hand reached out from ringside, unseen from the senior referee, but it yanked at Riktor’s hair, giving Alias the momentum to roll through, pinning Riktor’s shoulders down! Catching the Man Known as Rage completely off guard!

One!

Two!

Three!

As then saw the man who had deemed it his job, to assist the Original Pulp Hero in retaining his title.

Shawn Jessica BLEEP’n Hart!

The Original Pulp Hero was shaking his head, yelling towards the man would be facing him in just a matter of days at the For Queen & Country PPV, ACW’s first PPV in several years. Hart rolled into though, and as a shocked Riktor also got to his feet, he turned to confront SJH.

Shannan Lerch: There’s Yoo-Hoo and corndogs in the green room, Bobby.

Bobby Cairo: Sorry, Shannan. I’ve gone vegan.

Shannan Lerch: Really?

Bobby Cairo: Nah I’m just playin’. Peace to Bambaataa!

With that Cairo removes his headset and abandons the announce table, leaving Zach and Shannan to their own devices.

Zach Davis: All the clams are on the line in this match, Shannan. The Royal Family are defending their WCF Tag Team Titles against former champions The Big Time Jerks. As if that weren’t enough, the winning team punches their ticket to the finals of the WCF Tag Team Classic at Till Death Do Us Part this Sunday in Baltimore.

Shannan Lerch: Don’t forget that Chad Evans of The Royal Family has been already booked to face “Slickie T” Allen Guiliano for the WCF World Title at Till Death Do Us Part. If The Royal Family wins tonight that means that Chad will have to pull double duty at the pay-per-view, which could actually inhibit his chances of defeating Slickie for the World Title.

Zach Davis: It’s a unique and precarious situation, Shannan. I hope that Chad is squirming…I hope that he’s sweating bullets right now.

Shannan Lerch: You don’t like Chad Dogg, do you Zach?

Zach Davis: No I don’t, Shannan, and I especially don’t like it when people call him Chad Dogg. It’s a stupid, stupid name! There’s only one Dogg in WCF and his first name is Madd, not Chad!

“Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd starts playing as Adam Young and Austin Adams come walking out wearing matching black leather trench coats with Texas flags on the back of them and the girls are wearing Texas baby doll t-shirts and black leather Dazie Duke shorts. The BTJ’s are carrying the NAJW World tag team titles. They climb into the ring and raise their right fists in the air as red, white and blue pyro pop off behind them. Austin hugs Alyssa and then she takes his jacket off of him as he gives her a kiss. Adam drops down off the second rope and turns towards Angelica who is crawling towards him on her hands and knees. She starts crawling up Adam’s body stopping to kiss the NAJW World tag team title and then proceeding up to Adam’s face where she licks his left cheek and then kisses him.

Kyle Steel: Ladies and gentlemen, the following bout is a semifinal match in the WCF Tag Team Classic and is scheduled for one fall. It is also for the WCF Tag Team Titles! Introducing the first team, they weighed in this morning at a combined weight of five-hundred and twenty pounds. They are former WCF Tag Team Champions and were voted WCF’s “Tag Team of the Year” in 2009! Here are Los Tirones de Tiempo Grandes, Theeeee Biiiiiggggggg Tiiiiiimmmmeeeeee Jeeeeeerrrrrrkkkkkkksssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adam takes off his jacket and gets a mic from Angelica.

Zach Davis: The Jerks look confident and focused tonight.

Shannan Lerch: They’ve been trying to regain the Tag Titles since losing them to The New Confederacy in that classic triple threat ladder match at One. Tonight could be the beginning of the year of the Jerk!

The lights in the arena turn black and the crowd panics. Suddenly red and white strobe lights illuminate the arena and “March of the Fire Ants” by Mastodon can be heard blasting through the speakers. Two white horses leading a golden carriage appear at the entranceway, with Prince Jimmy Dean and Chad Evans sitting in the carriage. Gold confetti is now pouring from the ceiling as the music builds and grows more intense, along with the now frenetic flickering of the lights.

Kyle Steel: Their opponents weighed in at a combined weight of four-hundred and fifteen pounds for tonight’s bout. They are the reigning WCF Tag Team Champions! They are known to many as The Big Dick Superstars, here are Thhhhhhheeeeeee Rooooooyyyyaaaaaaaaalllllllllll Faaaaaammiiiiilllllllyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As the horses pull the carriage toward the ring, Prince Jimmy waves and smiles at the fans while Chad sits motionless with a focused expression on his face. The ring crew scurries to sweep the confetti from the ring and ringside area. When the carriage arrives at the ring, Prince Jimmy gracefully exits and makes his way up the steps to the ring, still smiling and waving at the fans. Chad leaps from the carriage onto the ring apron and flips forward over the top rope into the ring. Chad and Jimmy huddle in their corner of the ring and discuss strategy before the match.

Zach Davis: Can any team defeat The Royal Family? That’s the question that inquiring minds have been asking. Chad Evans and Jimmy Dean have looked unstoppable as a team, and last week they showed that they are willing to use any means necessary to retain their titles and win the Classic.

Shannan Lerch: You’re right about that, Zach. As the world witnessed last week on Slam, Chad Evans attacked WCF World Champion Slickie T with Prince Jimmy’s scepter. That allowed The Royal Family to secure a victory over the duo of Slickie and Kevin Hardaway, but the fallout was still to come. Later in the night my brother Seth took the initiative of announcing that Chad would challenge Slickie in a World Title match at Till Death Do Us Part. That’s a grudge match that the world wants to see, and quite frankly the future of the company is at stake in that match.

Zach Davis: Slickie T and Chad Evans are cut from two very different cloths. They both come from working class backgrounds and they’re both professional wrestlers, but that’s where the similarities end. Slickie is a true gentleman and a respected entrepreneur and grappler, a real fan favorite. He’s a breath of fresh air, the man who helped this company rise above the odious stench of Torture’s title reign. Evans on the other hand is a very abrasive young man. He has no respect for authority and he’s adopted a win-at-all-costs attitude that has quite frankly overshadowed his considerable wrestling ability.

Shannan Lerch: He’s also threatened to murder my brother in cold blood on several occasions.

Zach Davis: I have no comment on that matter.

The arena fades to black as a red, white, and green spotlights begin to circle the crowd and a red glow appears on the left side of the stage, a white glow in the middle, and a green glow on the right, as “Gravesend (Lake of Fire)” by Lordz of Brooklyn begins to blast over the speakers and the three lights come together in the center of the stage where Slickie T stands with his back turned to the crowd, his arms extended to form the shape of a “T”.

Zach Davis: Apparently the World Champion isn’t going to wait until next Sunday to get a glimpse of Chad Evans live and in person!

Shannan Lerch: These fans in Des Moines have erupted at the sight of Slickie T! Chad doesn’t look very pleased though, he’s stomping the ring and kicking the ropes!

Slickie watches as the screen shows a roulette wheel spinning as the pill comes to settle on the green 00 space and the camera zooms in on the pill until the screen becomes completely white and then “Slickie T the Ace of Hardcore” scrolls across the screen in black in front of a waving Italian flag. Slickie then quickly turns as the pill settles in the 00 space and red, white, and green pyros explode behind him as he slowly makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with those who are reaching out to him. As he reaches the ring, he focuses intently on Evans, who is staring right back at him. Slickie makes his way to the announce table and sits down next to Zach and Shannan, never taking his eyes off of Evans.

Zach Davis: Welcome to the announce table, Slickie T! Or should I call you, Mr. World Champion?

Slickie T: Glad to be here, Zach. Mr. Guiliano is just fine or you can even call me Allen. Not many people call me Slickie T outside of the wrestling world, but then again I guess we are sitting here ringside for what should be a great match.

Zach Davis: Well, it’s a pleasure to have you with us, champ! How do you feel about calling the action tonight? Your challenger Chad Evans doesn’t appear very comfortable with your presence at ringside!

Slickie T: He shouldn’t be comfortable. He’s in the ring looking to defend his Tag Team Title, while the current World Champion is sitting here watching his every move. I don’t think Chad realizes the severity of his actions last week when he used a cheap shot in order to come away with a victory. If his goal was to get my attention, then his goal was achieved. I respect his talent and his determination, but it seems he is working his way into a much more severe situation than he realizes. He came out of nowhere and now after fighting and clawing my way to the World Championship, I have to face Mr. Evans, a relatively unknown opponent, in order to defend my title.

Zach Davis: Alright, let’s head to the ring for this Tag Team Title match!

Evans finally turns his attention away from Slickie and toward his opponents. Ding-a-ling-ling! There’s the opening bell. Chad starts for The Family, while Adams starts for the Jerks. Chad shows no regard for his physically larger opponent as he goes on the offensive with a flurry of kicks to the legs and body. Adams charges Evans, but Chad sidesteps and hits a drop toe hold. Chad gets Adams to the mat and drops a lightning quick elbow drop to the back of Austin’s head.

Zach Davis: Evans is proving that speed kills here in the early going. Austin Adams is a real powerhouse, but if you can take him down then you eliminate most of the weapons in his arsenal. Evans is quick and he has that martial arts footwork, but obviously he won’t be able to outmaneuver the man who is sitting next to me quite so easily this Sunday night in Baltimore. Isn’t that right, champ?

Slickie T: Zach, I think that by now the entire world knows that I am the most versatile wrestler in the Wrestling Championship Federation. I am known for my high-flying abilities, but I have also proven that I can trade punches with the best of them. The speed of Chad Evans doesn’t worry me at all, but the combination of two lightning-quick individuals in the ring at the same time should make for one hell of a match on February 28.

Shannan Lerch: That’s a good point, Slickie, but as we say that Chad Evans has just throttled Austin Adams with a vicious soccer kick! That move has been banned by most mixed martial arts organizations around the world, but it’s perfectly legal here in WCF!

Zach Davis: It looks like Chad is setting Adams up for his patented Spike piledriver…no, Adams blocks it! Adams sends Chad flying with a back bodydrop!

Shannan Lerch: Did you see the hang time that Chad got on that? He went flying all the way across the ring! Austin Adams is a beast of a man!

Zach Davis: Chad probably went for the piledriver a little early. He needed to wear down the big man a lot more than he did, that’s for sure.

Adams whips Chad into the ropes. Chad shoots off the ropes and goes for a leap frog, but Adams catches him in midair and hits a sitout powerbomb into a pinning combination.

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

NO!!!

Zach Davis: Kickout by Chad Evans after the great powerbomb counter by Austin Adams! We almost had new Tag Team Champions!

Shannan Lerch: Adams is just stomping away at Chad now, like his namesake Austin. There’s noting fancy about this, ladies and gentlemen. It’s a pure, old-fashioned, Texas ass-whooping.

Slickie T: I don’t know how they do it in Texas, but I think we do it a little bit differently across the pond in Sicily and Chad is going to find that out in Baltimore.

Adams whips Evans into the ropes. As Evans rebounds off the ropes, Adams grabs him and hits a devastating spinebuster. Adams makes the cover.

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

NO!!!

Zach Davis: Evans kicks out again after the big spinebuster by Adams! Adams isn’t the flashiest wrestler, but he knows how to hurt. He’ll wear you down with his power moves until you don’t have an ounce of fight left in your body.

Shannan Lerch: The fans at home might have noticed that veteran WCF referee Slappy Johnson is not officiating this match, or any other matches on tonight’s broadcast. Slappy has been indefinitely suspended by WCF after “failing in his responsibility to uphold the competitive balance in last week’s Tag Team Title match.” I’m quoting that directly from the PR department’s press release on the matter.

Slickie T: Let’s hope Mr. Johnson doesn’t make any surprise appearances next Sunday either. The PR department can call it “failure to uphold competitive balance” or whatever else they want, but the obvious outcome was that Chad Evans was credited with a victory he didn’t deserve and had his hand raised over my fallen body last week. Sure, I should had never let myself get in such an unfortunate position, but Mr. Johnson is a veteran referee and I think we all know he is capable of doing a much better job of officiating than what he did in Hammond, Indiana.

Adams is setting up Chad for a gutwrench powerbomb. Chad blocks it and counters with an Implant DDT. Chad makes the cover.

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

NO!!!

Zach Davis: Adams kicks out after two! The Royal Family has new life in this match after the nice DDT by Evans.

Shannan Lerch: Chad has been made that Implant DDT a regular part of his arsenal. I wonder if he’ll be able to execute that move against the World Champion this Sunday?

Slickie T: He can attempt to execute it all he wants and even if he does manage to put me on the canvas with that move, you better believe it is going to take more than an Implant DDT to keep my shoulders on the mat for a three count. I have been the victim of some of the most devastating finishers the WCF has to offer and it wasn’t enough to keep me down. Ask Torture, Logan, Johnny Reb, and anyone else that has stepped into the ring with me in a main event situation what it takes to keep Slickie T on the mat for three seconds. It’s nothing that can simply be done with one move. The Evans Implant DDT has nothing on a Guiliano T-Bone or even an Omerta for that matter.

Chad builds a head of steam off the ropes and knocks his larger opponent down with a rolling wheel kick. Chad makes the cover.

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

NO!!!

Zach Davis: Austin Adams kicks out after the nice rolling wheel kick by Chad Evans! Chad has a variety of kicks in his arsenal thanks to his extensive martial arts background. Chad might have the most lethal feet in WCF, outside of Mikami.

Shannan Lerch: My vote goes to Hank Brown. Have you ever been around Hank when he takes his loafers off? Good lord, the stench!

Zach Davis: It looks like we have our first tag of this match. Chad isn’t ready to vacate the ring just yet however. He locks Adams in an armbar while Prince Jimmy comes off the top rope with an axe-handle smash! Good teamwork by the Tag Team Champions.

Chad climbs out to the apron as Prince Jimmy sets Adams up for and hits a beautiful pump-handle slam. Jimmy makes the cover.

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

NO!!!

Zach Davis: Adams kicks out! Austin Adams is proving his toughness here tonight, but he badly needs to make a tag to his partner and fellow Big Time Jerk, Adam Young.

Shannan Lerch: You can see that Young is anxious to get into the match. He’s bouncing up and down on the ring apron, and screaming at Adams to make the tag. He knows that this match is his opportunity to wear tag team gold once again in WCF.

Zach Davis: Let’s not forget that these teams have history and it hasn’t been good history for the Big Time Jerks. The Royal Family defeated The Jerks to earn a Tag Team Title shot against The New Confederacy at Ten. It could have been The Jerks wrestling for the Tag Titles at the biggest show in WCF history, but instead they were relegated to the under card. The pain of that disappointment has to be fresh in their minds. Slickie T knows what that feels like, and he obviously used it as motivation when he captured the WCF World Title at Ten. Isn’t that right, champ?

Slickie T: You are absolutely correct, Zach. There was nothing more disappointing in my career than losing that title match at Ten. Not only was it disappointing to know that I lost a golden opportunity to wear the WCF World Championship belt around my waist, but losing it to a man that I had feuded with for so long before that made it 100 times worse. I threw every move I had, pulled out all the stops and was unable to come away with the win, but I got my shot at glory once again at One and made the most of it. Sure, I didn’t pin Torture and that is something that leaves a bit of a sorry taste in my mouth, but knowing that I was the one that put a stop to his title reign and eliminated him from title matches for six months makes it a little sweeter. If there is anyone that should be thanking me, its Chad Evans. Do you think that he would even be booked with me next Sunday at Till Death Do Us Part if Torture were still in the World Title picture? Not a chance!

Prince Jimmy whips Austin Adams into the ropes. Jimmy charges and hits Adams with a vicious running clothesline. Jimmy makes the cover.

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

NO!!!

Zach Davis: Adams kicks out once again! We all know that Austin Adams is a tough man, but even he must be wearing down after taking a considerable amount of punishment from both members of The Royal Family.

Shannan Lerch: Nobody ever said that it was going to be easy to take the Tag Team Titles away from The Royal Family. It’s a good thing for Adams that he has a neck the size of my Hyundai, or this match would be over.

Zach Davis: Prince Jimmy is really pouring it on now. He’s working Adams with a vicious combination of punches. Rumor has it that The Prince was heavyweight boxing champion in his native Papua New Guinea before turning his sights to pro wrestling and WCF.

Shannan Lerch: Forget about the punches, Zach…Jimmy is going for a suplex!

Zach Davis: No, Adams blocked it! He kicks Jimmy away and…chokeslam! Austin Adams just chokeslammed Prince Jimmy Dean! Adams makes the cover!

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

NO!!!

Zach Davis: Prince Jimmy kicked out! We almost had new Tag Team Champions!

Shannan Lerch: The crowd is actually cheering for The Big Time Jerks, as hard as that is to believe.

Zach Davis: I think they’re just rooting for the underdogs, Shannan. The crowd naturally hates both teams, but The Royal Family are the champions and they’ve been in control for most of this match.

Shannan Lerch: Crowd support is well and good, Zach, but Austin Adams has to make the tag.

Adams and Prince Jimmy are each slowly crawling to their respective corners. Jimmy tags Chad first, but Adams makes the hot tag to Adam Young.

Zach Davis: Adam Young has finally been tagged into this match and he’s taking the fight to Chad Evans! Beautiful standing dropkick by Young! And another standing dropkick! Make it three in a row! Young makes the cover!

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

Zach Davis: Evans kicks out!

Shannan Lerch: Young isn’t letting up…El Imprevisible hits a crisp snap suplex on Chad Dogg! Young makes another cover!

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

NO!!!

Zach Davis: Chad Evans is getting more than he bargained for, and I have a feeling that I’ll be saying that again this Sunday night in Baltimore!

Slickie T: I think you and I both know what Chad Evans should expect next week in Maryland. He is no stranger to the ring and Zach you are no stranger to watching me here from ringside. There will be no surprises, there will be no upsets, there will just be a man proving while he is indeed the World Champion and just how hard it was to achieve that prize. Evans is a talented individual and he is proving that here tonight, but let’s be honest, Adam Young and Austin Adams can’t hold a candle to Slickie T, and that’s if they were booked in a 2 on 1 handicap match.

Shannan Lerch: Young is going for the spinning toe hold, can he get it locked it? No! Chad shoves Young into the turnbuckles with his feet and rolls him up from behind!

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

NO!!!

Zach Davis: Young kicks out! That’s all the more impressive due to the fact that Evans had a double handful of tights!

Shannan Lerch: Chad is known to bend the rules, and that’s perfectly legal as long as you don’t get caught. No offense, Slickie.

Slickie T: Non taken, Shannan. I am aware of the tactics used by Chad Evans. I know that I have to keep my head on a swivel and be ready for anything that he might have up his sleeve. As I said earlier, I just have to keep myself out of predicaments were Chad can take advantage of his illegal tactics. He has the nerve to call me out and tell me what a horrible person I am because of the professional I excel in and because of the way he assumes I won the World Title and then he shows his true self by his actions last week. He truly is a despicable person, but I will knock the taste right out of his mouth and show him by I am the one wearing a World Championship belt on Sunday night.

Evans measures Young, charges and hits a high impact Shining Wizard that causes the crowd to collectively gasp in horror. Chad makes the cover.

TWO…

NO!!!

Zach Davis: Young kicks out! He might be eating soup through a straw for the next month after that Shining Wizard by Evans!

Shannan Lerch: It couldn’t have hurt any worse than getting kicked in the face by a Texas steer.

Zach Davis: Has that really happened to you, Shannan?

Shannan Lerch: No…I’m talking about Adam Young, you idiot!

Zach Davis: Irish whip by Chad…nope, Young reverses it. Young catches Evans in the sleeperhold! Young is known as a master of the sleeper and it looks like he’s got it locked in tight! Could this be the end of The Royal Family’s Tag Team Title reign?

Shannan Lerch: Jawbreaker by Evans! Brilliant counter! I’m sure that Chad had that sleeper scouted and he knew exactly how to escape!

Zach Davis: Chad is ruthless and unruly but he’s no dummy, that’s for sure.

Shannan Lerch: Standing SSP by Chad and he hooks the leg!

Shannan Lerch: Could Chad be on the verge of enlightening us? Yes, he goes for his version of the Ghetto Stomp…but no, Young rolls out of the way!

Zach Davis: Chad lands on his feet…and Young surprises him with the Sure Shot! That’s his version of Sweet Chin Music!

Shannan Lerch: Young is crawling over to make the cover…and he does!

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

THR–NO!!!

Zach Davis: Chad kicks out! If Young had been able to make an immediate cover we would be looking at new Tag Team Champions!

Slickie T: See, that’s the difference between pretenders and contenders right there, Zach. Young hit his shot, a move exactly like the Omerta, but he didn’t take advantage of his downed opponent immediately and Chad was able to kick out. Evans better be working on that chin after his match this week because if a shot like that is all it takes to put him on his back for a potential three count, it could be a quick match this week in Baltimore.

Shannan Lerch: Now it looks like both Young and Evans are trying to make the tag. Chad tags Jimmy…and Young tags Adams!

Adams storms into the ring and hits Jimmy with a running big boot.

Zach Davis: Adams is setting up Jimmy for a piledriver…and he hits it! What an impact! Adams makes the cover!

Shannan Lerch: The Prince doesn’t look happy! He grabs Young and tosses him over the top rope! Angelica and Alyssa are checking on him to make sure that he’s ok.

Zach Davis: We’re down to the two legal men in the ring, Prince Jimmy Dean and Austin Adams. Jimmy looks like he’s setting Adams up for a powerbomb now. He gets Adams up…no, Adams blocks it! Adams counters with a back bodydrop! That’s the second time he’s done that in this match! How does he find the strength?

Shannan Lerch: I think he used all of the strength that he had left in his body, Zach. It doesn’t look like he has enough left to make the cover.

Zach Davis: We have two men down in the ring and two men down outside of the ring…and the ref is counting both teams out!

Adams and Prince Jimmy slowly begin to stir on the mat. The bulk of the crowd isn’t vocal in its support of either wrestler, though alternating chants of “B-D-S!” and “B-T-J!” are slightly audible.

Zach Davis: Adams and Prince Jimmy are slowly climbing to their feet now…and both men are up!

Shannan Lerch: And it looks like Evans and Young have recovered from their spills outside the ring. They’ve both climbed onto the ring apron.

Zach Davis: We’re back to a two-on-two match, Shannan. This crowd has come to life once again here in Des Moines. I’m not sure which team they’re rooting for, if either, but they’re definitely into this match.

Adams and Jimmy simultaneously charge each other. Adams ducks a clothesline and hits a boot to the midsection. Adams hits a twisting belly-to-belly suplex.

Zach Davis: There’s the Twister by Austin Adams! He makes the cover! Could this be it?

Referee: ONE…

TWO…

THR—NO!

Zach Davis: Evans breaks up the pin! He saved the Tag Team Titles for The Royal Family!

Shannan Lerch: Young isn’t standing idly by, he just jumped into the ring and he’s going after Chad! All four men are in the ring!

Young brawls with Evans, while Dean brawls with Adams. The referee tries to restore order, to no avail.

Zach Davis: The referee might not like it, but the fans are loving this four man brawl inside the ring! Neither team has the clear advantage at the moment…oh, Evans just hit Young with the axe kick!

Shannan Lerch: And now Chad is climbing out of the ring…where is he going? Oh my…he’s coming this way!

Slickie T: I think we both know that he is about to make HUGE mistake if he continues to walk this direction and open his mouth!

Chad walks over to the announce table and talks smack to Slickie, including some rather unsavory remarks about Slickie’s mother.

Zach Davis: Don’t let him get to you, Slickie. He’s just trying to get into your head.

Slickie T: I realize that, but if there is one subject that you don’t bring up to an Italian, it is his mother. She might have chosen a profession that is looked down upon, but she is my mother and I will defend her honor even if it costs me my life!

Chad has a good laugh at Slickie’s expense and then walks away.

Shannan Lerch: Where is Chad going now? Oh no…he just grabbed Prince Jimmy’s scepter from ringside and now he’s climbing into the ring while the referee is preoccupied with Angelica and Alyssa!

Slickie T removes his headset and walks away from the announce table.

Shannan Lerch: Damned if I know, Zach. My eyes are locked on the ring. Adams just hit Prince Jimmy with the Perfect Storm! Adams makes the cover, but the referee is still distracted with Angelica and Alyssa. What the heck is the ref doing with those ladies anyway?

Zach Davis: Well…they are very easy on the eyes, Shannan.

Shannan Lerch: Chad just hit Adams in the head with the scepter! He pulled Jimmy on top of Adams!

A sudden cheer goes up in the crowd.

Zach Davis: What the hell…Slickie T is in the ring! The World Champion is standing behind Chad Evans and Chad has no idea!

Chad can’t understand why the crowd is suddenly cheering. He furrows his brow in a vain attempt to understand the situation and then turns around. Slickie greets Chad with a kick to the midsection and then lays him out with the T-Bone. The crowd goes apeshit bonkers. Slickie drags Adams on top of Chad and then high-tails it out of the ring.

Zach Davis: The World Champion has laid out Chad Evans in the middle of the ring!

Shannan Lerch: Angelica and Alyssa are pleading with the ref to turn around…and he does!

ONE!!!

TWO!!!

THREE!!!

Zach Davis: We have new Tag Team Champions in Des Moines! The Big Time Jerks have defeated The Royal Family, thanks to a major assist from the World Champion Slickie T!

Shannan Lerch: Chad introduced the scepter as a weapon for the second week in a row and apparently Slickie had seen enough. The Jerks are champions once again and they move on to the finals of the WCF Tag Team Classic! Who woulda thunk it?
