-Angus Skaaland sells out?

As you may have noticed, Pro-Wrestling LARIAT, the small promotion out of Austin, TX that was pegged as the next big thing on the landscape, has been sitting in a state of remission for months as advertising contracts were being worked out that would allow the promotion to expand. However, as proceedings went stagnant weeks ago and alternate funding couldn’t be worked out, word has come down the pipeline that Angus Skaaland backed out of the proceedings and simply sold off the rights and assets of the company to the highest bidder.

Would it surprise you if said highest bidder remained anonymous?

Of course not, this is wrestling for Christ’s sakes.

When pressed, Angus would only say that what he’s doing is the best possible thing for the business. He refused further comments and has been sequestered ever since the sale was made public.

The news came as a surprise to most as many officials inside of the World Wrestling Alliance had been led to believe that LARIAT was a lock for the advertising money and were in line to become the Southern territory of the recently slumping Alliance. It’s even been whispered that Skaaland had the contract in his hands, but he simply never signed it.

It should be noted that officials from other defunct promotions such as Memphis Pro, Bayou Wrestling Alliance, Championship Wrestling from Florida, and Atlantic Coast Wrestling have also recently been approached with similar offers on their intellectual properties.

It isn’t currently known whether any of those other negotiations ever produced anything newsworthy, but rest assured if and when any information is made available for the public that the WWA Underground will be on the scene for all your coverage needs!

One thing is for sure, there’s a funny feeling in the air…

Bobbinette Carey Announces Retirement
In recent months there has been much inner debate about retiring as a wrestling rper. I’ve been doing this for 14 years and alot of people don’t make it that long.

I have loved all those years, but I had told myself before RATR 2 that I was done no matter the outcome of the Kirsta vs Bobbinette match. I’m happy I was finally able to put the rumors to rest of me being in fear of Kirsta, I beat her and that was the best feeling along with the best way to go out as a wrestler, on top.

That is how everyone hopes to go out but not everyone is as fortunate. I myself was one of the few that have been lucky enough to be that fortunate. People don’t understand why I would retire from something I love. It’s because my passion isn’t in rping as a wrestler as much as it used to be. That drive that desire isn’t there like it used to be, it’s felt more like a chore then something that drives me as it used to. It has nothing to do with the wrestlers here they actually have been amazing and I have concidered some of them great friends that I’ll have forever.

I ended my wrestling career on a high note, not one for a title yet one for one that was more of proving something to myself. I am sorry if anyone feels I am letting them down but sometimes you have to do things for yourself in life and that is why I’m retiring from wrestling.

The door for Carey to return to HOW will always be open and she is a true credit to t

Ricochet Pro Wrestling has under gone some massive changes through-out the years, but none more than what we saw on the last Crossfire, when William Scott Rhoden purchased Ricochet lock, stock, and barrel and announced that Ricochet would become a staple of Wednesday night television on his new World Sports Network which debuts in November.

However, what happens until November will be very interesting. Already announced for the first Crossfire on its new network is Johnny Royal defending his World Title against Antonino Romano, but first, Antonino Romano must find a tag team partner to face off against Shawn Kelley and Chris Deppe, the Ruff Ryders. Romano has made so many enemies through-out his years in Ricochet, who will he be able to find to face off against the Ruff Ryders?

Also on Crossfire, we saw David Dunn invite Sean Cain to a special live edition of The Monthly Cycle that will take place in the center of the Crossfire ring. What will happen when these two volatile enemies stand in the same ring as each other once again.

Ricochet will also debut another new RPW superstar Tommy “The Fury” Crimson taking on local superstar “The Man’s Man” Adam Tolliver.

10/12/09 – Slam
Live From The Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin

Anastasia Petrova vs Slickie T

Seth made several blockbuster announcements at Slam. One was that Hellimination was returning, with a four man team taking on the ToT. And at the end of Slam, he shocked the world and joined the Team of Torture, aligning himself with Jay Price.. and Torture himself. He then announced that Slickie T would be the next man to join the ToT. Tonight, Slickie is up against one of the members of the team going up against the ToT at Helloween, Anastasia Petrova. Petrova defeated Craig Jacobs last week, can she pull the upset and beat Slickie T? Will Slickie T show his allegiance to the ToT?

Tag Team Titles Match
The Big Time Jerks vs The Superfans

The Superfans defeated the team of Johnny Reb and Doc Henry. The Big Time Jerks also won at Slam, defeating Team of Torture members Ryan Daniels and Mikami. Tonight, the Big Time Jerks finally get their Tag Titles shot. Seth has been heard telling people that he’d be placing the Fans up against higher profile opponents, where will that be leading? And can the Jerks upset the Tag Champions?

Logan/Hector Rodriguez vs Mikami/Ryan Daniels

Logan returns to action, teaming up once again with Hector Rodriguez to take on Mikami and Ryan Daniels. Mikami and Daniels were unsuccesful in their bid to defeat the Big Time Jerks last week, will they be able to take out two of their Helloween opponents early? Or will the war escalate by Logan and Rodriguez defeating them?

Tyler Derden/Tyler Straven vs Truth Addiction

Truth Addiction, Tank Reaper and Chris Avery, return to tag team action to take on Tyler Derden and Tyler Straven. Derden and Straven have been linked together since arriving in WCF, and are up against one another at Helloween. They’re being forced to tag together tonight, will they be able to work together well enough to take down Truth Addiction?

Television Title Match
D-Day vs Jay Price
No Disqualification

Jay Price issued an open challenge to the entire WCF roster for a TV Title match, and D-Day has stepped up to the challenge. Not only that, but it is a no DQ match. Will D-Day be able to finally win gold in WCF or will ToT member Jay Price continue to dominate?

United States Title Contendership Match
Doc Henry vs Anthrax

Two men on opposite sides of the Hellimination match will compete to earn a United States Title shot. If Anthrax wins, he’d face Logan, who is on the opposite side of that match… but if Doc Henry wins, he’d be facing a man on his very own team. How will that affect the dynamics of this match, and the Hellimination match? Who will get the shot?

Hardcore Title Contendership Match
Greenfever vs Death vs Prince Jimmy Dean

Ace Slaughter won the Hardcore Title last week, but needs an opponent for Helloween. Three men will compete for the Helloween match: Prince Jimmy Dean, Death, and the former Hardcore Champion himself, Greenfever. Greenfever hadn’t been himself recently but seems to be back to his old self, will he win a rematch at his Title?

FANS WRESTLING ORGANIZATION (FWO)

FWO NEWS FROM THEIR WEBSITE:
by Kristen Jacobs

On last week’s reAction, fans and FWO personnel watched in horror as reigning Hardcore Champion Krow destroyed FWO Legend Ric Chronos in the center of the ring, all the while forcing a bound William Beaven to watch. When cameras went off the air, it didn’t take long for Vox Nihili’s Alias and K-Wolf to charge the ring and ensure Chronos’ safety from Krow and Paladin. Unfortunately, it was too late; and Ric Chronos is currently resting his injuries at a local hospice, diagnosed with a severe concussion and severe lacerations on his head (undoubtedly from the ’stab’ of a screwdriver from Krow) that required several stitches.

However, immediately following the hospitalization of Ric Chronos, and infuriated Alias reportedly stomped into Beaven’s office during a house show event and demanded a contest with the Satanic God for the next show. It didn’t take much for Beaven to conjure the contract and sign the match.

Tonight, in the main event, Krow will defend his Hardcore Championship, a title he’s held for nearly half a year, against one of his toughest opponents to date in Alias. Alias and Krow have a very similar style, both are excellent strikers and tenacious knock out artists. The duo have been commended for their pain tolerance and their seemingly concrete skulls. Though the two have faced in tag team competition; they have never faced in singles competition EVER in their entire careers.

Alias vs. Krow is undoubtedly a dream match for wrestling fans enthusiasts, and with Hardcore Rules in place, there will definitely be a clean cut victor.

FWO REACTION RESULTS:
-Team Viagra (High Flyer/Mary Lynn Mayweather) def. Keith Scott Zimmerman and Allison Lindum-Zimmerman

GLOBAL DIVISION OF WRESTLING (GDW)

GDW NEWS FROM THEIR WEBSITE:

RALEIGH, NC: Global Division of Wrestling Owner Mike Michaels announced today that Heroes for Hope III, scheduled to take place on November 13th, 2009, will not take place.

“Our partnership with the Millennium Wrestling Alliance has all but broken down.” Michaels said in a statement at a press conference. “We wish them well in future endeavors but we as a company must move on. We sought out other partners for Heroes for Hope III but no one seemed interested, therefore the event will not happen.”

No fear, GDW fans. The owner already has a replacement event in mind. “In its place will be the usual Friday Night Fever, with an added twist. The Top Twelve of the Year according to our yearly wrestler rankings will be placed in the Eye of Ares II Tournament.”

“We will continue to tabulate rankings until the October 30th edition of Fever, at which point we will stop and take the top twelve and put them in the tourney. The top four ranked will earn byes into the next round. If you remember the first Eye of Ares Tournament, you will remember that each match was contested under street fight rules.”

“This will not change. Each Eye of Ares Tournament Match will be contested under no holds barred falls count anywhere rules.”

The announcements didn’t end there. “Seeing as this tournament was to be held during the Heroes for Hope III event, the winner will split his or her one million dollar winnings with a charity of his or her choice. On top of the monetary victory the winner will receive the Eye of Ares cup and the opportunity to book one edition of Friday Night Fever.”

No doubt the GDW superstars will all be scrambling during the next several shows to bump up their rankings score, hoping to make it into the tournament.

It should also be pointed out that those who have not been on the active GDW roster for a long period of time will not be allowed into the tournament even if they did manage to make the top twelve. Also the rankings will start over as of the November 13th edition of Friday Night Fever.

———————

GDW Friday Night Fever rolls into New Orleans for the GCW Reunion Show. We are on the heels of what is quite possibly the most shocking pay per view in GDW history. How will GDW respond to the new Suffrage power grab? What will our new World Heavyweight Champion have to say? What is the fate of Kayla Jones?

CROSSFIRE RESULTS:
-”The People’s Hero” Johnny Royal, The Ruff Ryders, and Jason Reed def “The Italian Maniac” Antonino Romano, Adam Heaton, Wilson Dunn, Rude Boi Kris Jenkins

Ricochet Purchased by William Scott Rhoden

In surprising news, William Scott Rhoden, who attended Crossfire to meet with Anthony Rigby and Melanie Cohen about a potential television deal, ended up purchasing Ricochet from them. He made the announcement at the end of the show saying that Crossfire would also begin to air on his new network the World Sports Network when it debuts in November.

More details are coming out about the purchase, and while an official price has not been announced, the deal did seem to be in the millions and included all Ricochet assets including their extensive tape library. Rhoden said that in the weeks that Ricochet is off, seeing it is a bi-weekly show, the network will air a two hour Crossfire Classics program highlighting some of the greatest matches and events in Ricochet history.

Despite his extensive resources, Rhoden has no intention of moving Ricochet out of the Tap ‘N’ Tin, liking the fan base that it brings, however, he has not against having special shows in other parts of England or even other parts of Europe where his network will be shown in an effort to increase the fanbase and television audience.

Kris Jenkins Injured

Rude Boi Kris Jenkins, after having an impressive debut, injured his posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) when he landed wrong during his match on Crossfire. At the moment, it is too early to know whether he will require surgery to repair the damage, but even without surgery, he is expected to miss several weeks, even a few months, of action. This is a blow to Ricochet as Jenkins was someone that management had a strong future here, and this injury will come as a blow to both his career and Ricochet’s aspirations for him.

SIN CITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING (SCCW)

L-I-V-E LIVE Sunday, September 27, 2009 from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and ONLY on PAY-PER-VIEW!

MAIN EVENT!
For the SCCW Universal Championship!
“Wise Guy” Wyatt Connors
Vs.
“The Red Raver” Aimz ©

Four hundred and twenty-three days. When she steps into the ring with the Wise Guy in Las Vegas, it will have been a remarkable four hundred and twenty-three days that Amy Campbell has sat atop Sin City Championship Wrestling as the self-professed Superversal Champion. But with all due respect to the men she’s defeated, none of them were as dastardly as Wyatt Connors, himself just off a nearly nine-month run as the Elite Champion! Now, with her secrets laid bare through the twisted plots of a twisted man, Amy Campbell will try to put this particular ghost to bed. But there’s a reason the Wise Guy held that belt, and there’s a reason he has this shot – not the least of which being he is the only man to hold a singles victory over Campbell during her impressive reign! What tricks will Wyatt have in store? What kind of mental frame-of-mind will Amy Campbell be in? Will she get to day 424? Find out in a main event that you’ve all been clamoring for!

A Ladder Match for the SCCW Gateway Championship!
“The Black Sheep” Jared Sykes
Vs.
“The Lost Soul” Dusk
Vs.
Spacely ©

Ever since his defeat of the Spider in the Web to claim the Gateway Championship, the Hulk Hogan of the Heavens has been on a remarkable run in Sin City, including a victory over Jared Sykes in Oakland! But if he’s going to defend the title he won in the Dome of Doom, Spacely is going to have to defeat not just the hungrier-than-ever Sykes, but also the enigmatic Lost Soul. What is Dusk’s motivation? Can Sykes stop his slide and claim the second-biggest prize in the land? Or will Spacely add two more feathers into his cap? Oh, and there’s the small matter of putting these three in a ladder match to worry about.

A Triple Threat Match for the SCCW LiveWire Championship!
“Simply Better” Xander Searle
Vs.
“The Ace in the Hole” Jadian Bridden (w/Julissa Minorez)
Vs.
Baron von Blackberry ©

The nefarious Devil Fruit, thanks to the interjection of Legion, has wedged himself into the rivalry between Xander Searle and Jadian Bridden, and thus far, he’s come out of it with the LiveWire Championship on his shoulder (he calls it Blackberry, Jr.). Now, Blackberry will attempt to defend the title against the man who he beat for it, the shooting star, Xander Searle, and a man who has been on quite the roll these last few weeks, Jadian Bridden! Will Blackberry, Jr., find a new home (perhaps nestled beside the original LW title belt, currently held by Juli Minorez?), or will SCIENCE prevail?

For the Big Slick Bracelet!
“The New Life” Jonathan Rhine
Vs.
“The Spider in the Web” Desade

Alexandra Pierce (then masquerading as Charlotte Ramone) won the Big Slick Bracelet at Heaven & Hell on August 2, 2008 – the same day Amy Campbell won the SCCW Universal Championship. But despite having a free shot at the champion whenever she wanted it, the Spider has left her gaudy piece of jewelry on her mantelpiece – and now we know why. Jonathan Rhine came back to SCCW for one reason and one reason only – to rid the federation of the depraved Director, and he can pluck away a tasty treat indeed if he can win that bracelet! Pierce and Rhine, one-on-one in Las Vegas, just might be worth the price of admission all by itself!

“Grudge Match” Isn’t Strong Enough!
“The River Rat” Lane Stevens
Vs.
“The Lion” Lance Marshall

There have been a lot of horrible things done in the world of professional wrestling – lives and livelihoods changed forever. But nothing matches the depths to which Lane Stevens has sunk, (allegedly) falsifying Alanna Marshall’s test results and giving Team Marshall a false sense of hope! In Oakland, Lance promised that the next time he faced Lane Stevens in the ring, the River Rat would never wrestle again – can the Lion follow through on his promise, or – like Jon Rhine in Oakland – will Lane Stevens find a way to win?

A Team into Turmoil Match!
The Winners of the Tag Match Face Off For the #1 Contendership to the LiveWire Title!
“The Modern Day Warrior” Jay Draven & “The Devil’s Reject” Legion
Vs.
Josh Marquez & “The Rapmaster of Rap” Rick Malloy
Vs.
“The Sword of Damocles” Darius Drannen & Mitchell Quinlan

Another innovative match concept from the Kent Fusiliers will see a new #1 contender to the LiveWire Championship! Three teams will face off in a tag-team war, and the winning team will face each other IMMEDIATELY for the right to face the winner of the Bridden-Searle-Blackberry match at a later date! Will it be one of the former LiveWire Champions, seeking to become the first to ever hold that title twice? Or the newcomers, Marquez and Drannen, who have impressed in their short Sin City tenures? Or perhaps Mitchell Quinlan, in his third opportunity to win a shot at the belt? And… will Jay Draven even show up?

For the #1 Contendership to the Strength in Numbers Championships!
Saul Goode & Ben Chillin
Vs.
Daddy Daughter Day

Two weeks ago in Portland, the team of August and April Monday were robbed of the SCCW Strength in Numbers Championships by the machinations of Alexandra Pierce’s Dead Man’s Hand, and at Equilibrium, they can take the first step towards getting a one-on-one opportunity against the champions! Their opponents are the very definition of plucky, two young surfer kids with an electrifying arsenal and absolutely nothing to lose! Who will get the next shot at Desade and Lance Marshall? Find out in Vegas!

All three of these competitors are new to the World Wrestling Alliance, and you can only make a first impression once. Asesino, the veteran, has a unique style of lucha libre and will need to be at his finest when he takes on the technical-styled fighters in Parker and Rohan.

Grudge Match
Nick Journey -vs- Robert Divine
Divine will have the fans behind him, but he has not been the same since the mysterious absence of his tag team partner Rudiger Probst.

Tag Team Spotlight Match
Cobra -vs- Jackson
Mr. Brad Jackson defeated Cobra for the World Heavyweight Championship back in February. These two will now go at it once again in WWA East. The fans of Pittsburgh are really looking forward to this one… this is one match you do not want to miss!

From FWO’s website:

Concussion threatens Tony Davis’ Career?
Fans of the Fans Wrestling Organization, tag team wrestler Tony Davis was apparently injured during the beginning of September. He was driving to Macon, George, for the September 5th, 2009 ReAction show when he had apparently fell asleep at the wheel.

Davis’ car rolled into the center guardrail, scraping against it for half a mile before Davis’ car spun out and smashed into a wall over a bridge.

Tony Davis suffered a concussion, and went on to compete against Scott Zimmerman.

Apparently, Tony is having long term repercussions from this recent concussion. He has been shown to revert to a different person when struck in the skull. Tony has been shown to possess extreme focus and technical prowess during this state. After being struck a second time in his skull, Davis reverts to his normal self. Disinterested, impartial, and ultimately… bored.

Doctors are investigating this split personality case with extreme haste, and while they’ve cleared Davis to continue his career with the Fans Wrestling Organization, medical sources inside FWO have been told to keep a close eye on one half of the original Team VIAGRA.

Message to Keith Scott Zimmerman

By High Flyer, dictated by Mary-Lynn Mayweather)

HEY MARY! I got shit to say. Get on your iPhone or your laptop or your hoo-dad and start clickety clacking with your fingertips.

Are you ready? You are? You’ve already started transcribing? You’re getting every word? Short hand? That’s good to know. Can you teach me?

No not now. Later. Later.

AMERICA! Keith Scott Zimmerman is a douche.

And I don’t mean that, oh, Keith Scott Zimmerman is such a prickly arsehole that I find him contemptuous and want him to be shot by a firing squad. Oh no, I’m saying the shape of his body resembles that of a household vagina cleaner. I’m saying the best useful purpose for Keith Scott Zimmerman would be that of a pussy scrubber.

What? You don’t want me to be so vulgar? Well, welcome to my world, because I don’t want Keith Scott Zimmerman as our World Champion. It pisses ME off. OUR WORLD CHAMPION! A self serving, maniacal, NAPOLEON OF A MAN, is our World Champ! It SICKENS me. He makes me want to put a revolver into my mouth and pull the trigger. Slightly off center so I blow a hole through my cheek and the pain takes over my thoughts. Because I don’t want to die knowing KSZ is world champ, and yet I need to inflict pain on myself to forget he exists. And his nose, it’s like a god damn airplane! No, go back. Lowercase the G in God. I don’t believe in him. God isn’t God’s name. I mean, I’m an acrobatic flip floppy spot monkey GOD of a man, but people aren’t going, ‘HEY GOD?! WHAT’S UP?!’ They call me Jack. They call me Fly. They call me Legend.

Cause for over a thousand days I reigned as FWO World Heavyweight Champion, and while times weren’t always good, I did everything I could to improve this place while I had the chance. And you know, for most of that time, we had peace on earth. Civility. And respect… although there was that riot, and then the deaths… and the… y’know scratch whatever I was saying. My championship reign was filled with disaster upon unmitigated disaster.

Which is exactly why, I will do everything in my power, to fill YOUR reign at the top of this promotion, with sorrow, regret, anger, and most of all, disaster upon disaster.

Later tater.

-Me.

1300+ day plus World Champ. And I’ll have it again. Cause Keith Scott Zimmerman is a blowhard. And I’m awesome.

From Hostility’s website:

Misery on the Horizon
With Hostile Violence #45 in the record books, Hostility now has its next Pay Per View event, Misery III, to look forward to. But what can we all look forward to at the event? And what happened during HV#45 that could have any bearing on the upcoming Pay Per View.

The Aversion Title will most definitely be on the line at Misery, however, the competitors may not be exactly who everyone was expecting. Both the World Title and Beautiful (Extreme) Title scenes got a little crazy this week, adding to the bubbling rivalries that surround the two titles. The final verdict was also brought down concerning the goings on between Hooligan and Sean Kage. Will their Misery III match happen or not?

And a new superstar made his on camera debut during Monday night’s broadcast.

Keep all these in mind as you all wait for Misery III, or simply go check out the results for HV#45 to get the low down on what to expect in two weeks time.

News from the PRIME website:

Matt Mills on the Hot Seat

The Twitter age is in full swing in today’s society and now it’s beginning to focus itself on PRIME. More specifically, a post from a respected interview specialist has received quite a bit of attention. As seen on the official PRIME Website message boards, Matt Mills Twitter posts have been included at the top.

Visit Matt Mills Twitter Page by clicking here.

So what, or who, could Matt Mills have seen to make him regret visiting PRIME Headquarters Tuesday? Well I set out to find out in this exclusive for PRIME’s official website.

That’s right, for the first time in a long time, Matt Mills is on the opposite end of the interview microphone and is directly on the hot seat for this one.

TCR: So Matt, your recent Twitter post has left some people wondering just went on in Chicago on Tuesday. Care to elaborate?

Matt Mills: Can’t do that Thomas. Not only would I regret that more than seeing what I saw, but it’s been made clear to me that I should choose my words wisely. I’ll be talking to Lisa Tyler at ReVolution and I’m sure it’s going to involve me keeping my mouth shut.

TCR: So you can’t give us anything here?

Matt Mills: Look, all I can say is that I saw something or someone that I shouldn’t have seen. I wasn’t scheduled to be at Headquarters yesterday and they knew that. So when I showed up unannounced to pick up some personal effects I needed, my encounter happened in the hallway. Simple, yet still something I shouldn’t have been there to experience.

TCR: That’s it?

Matt Mills: That’s it Thomas. Enjoy the show.

Well it wasn’t exactly what I wanted out of putting Matt Mills on the hot seat, but something went down with someone who was at PRIME Headquarters just yesterday.

Rest assured that further happenings involving this situation will be made available immediately on PRIME’s official website courtesy of yours truly, Thomas C. Robinson.

RICHOCHET PRO WRESTLING (RPW)

News from RPW’s website:

Anthony Rigby and Melanie Cohen to Attend Crossfire, Tap N’ Tin News
In news that does not shock many people, Ricochet minority owners Anthony Rigby and Melanie Cohen will attend next week’s Crossfire. This Crossfire will be the final episode televised in either the United Kingdom or Canada, the two biggest ratings draws for RPW. Rigby and Cohen are said to be meeting with the talent and staff individually.

Many believe that such a move might be the precursor for more layoffs or worse a temporary or even a permanent shutdown.

In some of the first good news out of Ricochet in months, the Tap N’ Tin has agreed to terms to allow Ricochet to rent out their facilities at a reduced rate, in order to keep them from moving to another facility. The Tap N’ Tin management is very happy with RPW’s ticket gate, which they receive a small percentage of, on top of the rent, and wish to keep RPW from looking for a new facility. The Tap N’ Tin, in such a short amount of time, has become one of the most loved crowds in Ricochet’s history that, while drawing smaller crowds than when they were at King George Hall, they seem to be more passionate about the product, purchasing almost double in merchandise sales on a regular basis than what the Hall crowd would. Ricochet is also happy with the arrangement and plan on staying at the Tap ‘N Tin for as long as they will have them.

Ricochet Signs New Superstar, Potential MMA Division
Earlier this week, Ricochet signed new superstar Tommy “The Fury” Crimson to a contract. Crimson is yet another example of a new superstar with both a background in professional wrestling and MMA. This brings several superstars to the roster with a MMA background into Ricochet. This prompts speculation that Ricochet maybe interested in starting their own MMA-style division or at least their own version of it. Ricochet is known for doing innovative things with classic matches, so it is not far fetched that they would take an established style and try to do something different with it to help showcase both Ricochet and their superstars.

Next card:
Wednesday, September 23, 2009
Chatham, Kent, England
The Tap ‘N’ Tin
Daniel James let Sean Cain know that the debt that Buzz Stone got in has officially be wiped clean, meaning James is gone from Ricochet forever. However, Ricochet is not out of the woods yet, as this Crossfire will signify what could be the final broadcast of Crossfire, as their television deal in two countries will come to an end.

So Ricochet is having a big send-off for their television show to show what the networks will be missing.

In the main event, “The People’s Hero” Johnny Royal will team with Jason Reed to take on “The Italian Maniac” Antonino Romano and Wilson Dunn, as four people who have issues with each other, and let’s not forget that Reed can cash in his World Championship request at any time.

In other action, Adam Heaton will take on the other member of the Ruff Ryders, Shawn Kelley after their altercation at Crossfire.

And in other action, Rude Boi Kris Jenkins makes his second appearance after an impressive debut, however, this time, he will have a lot stiffer competition as he will face off against Chris Deppe, the other member of the Ruff Ryders.

So there you have it.

Six epic matches, and also remember that the Scorpion Championship match will be FIVE matches itself!!

It’s sure to be one hell of a show.

ACTION PACKED WRESTLING (APW)
-New Tour Schedule released

Action Packed Wrestling for the first time, will tour Europe for 5 shows. APW will start their tour off on September 16th in France and will end the European tour on October 14th in Moscow Russia before heading over to Japan for our One Night in Hell Pay Per View, set to take place on October 25th. This event took place in Japan last year, and with the big success of the show, a deal was made that this PPV would take place in Japan every year. One Night is Hell is the only APW Pay Per View where every match is a gimmick match

To see the rest of the tour schedule, go to the following link
http://apwprez.proboards.com/index.cgi?b….splay&thread=37

-Overdrive Card announced

The card for the first Overdrive of the European tour has been released today. 6 match will take place. Biggs will defend his newly won Overdrive title in a Gauntlet match. A big tag match will take place as Slade teams up with a returning Assassin to take on Michael Lively and Streets Wilson. And with what happened in the Shockwave Main event, Jesse Nunez will face off against Pence Weatherlight.

-One Night in Hell Main Event

With Level One retaining the APW World Heavyweight Title at Shockwave, Pence Weatherlight has cashed in is rematch clause from his loss at Test for the Best and at One Night in Hell, it will be Level One defending the title against Pence Weatherlight. What gimmick match will this be? Tune into the up coming Overdrives to find out. With these two at each others throats since May, this match can very well be the end to this feud.

-2 Wrestlers officially back with APW

At Shockwave, at the conclusion of the Chris Cyrus/Slade Craven match, Assassin showed up after the match, while Biggs and Chris was about to burn Slade to a crisp and saved Slades life. Also by Defeating President Jeff at Shockwave, Michael Lively has won back his contract with APW. In the weeks leading up to this match at Shockwave, Lively was wrestling without a contract and not getting paid for those matches, in an attempt by Jeff to Lively for turning his back on the company back at Rasslemania V.

-APW Superstar wins major award

FROM FWO.COM:
FWO.com has received exclusive word that superstar and fWo Cruiserweight Champion Xin Xin Xiong, 25, has been detained by Atlanta Police Department on unnamed charges. It is rumored amongst insiders that due to the nature of their arrest, just moments after coming through baggage handling at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and the fact that no bail has been granted at any price suggests that Mr. Xiong is being held in question of very serious allegations.

What this means for the FWO, and its Cruiserweight division, remains to be seen.

-As the Las Vegas fans begin piling into the Mandalay Bay Events Center for Monday Night Mayhem tonight, HOWrestling.com has just learned that General Manager Ryan Faze is missing in action!

Many are wondering what exactly the hold up is as Faze is always one to arrive early to his shows, so speculation is abound…

We’ve heard everything from Faze going deep in a poker tournament at The Rio, to a special visit from the Illustrious Face-Eater, to even a drug overdose!!!

We certainly hope it isn’t the latter, but if Faze doesn’t arrive shortly, the “dogs” in the locker room are sure to run WILD on Mayhem!

We’ll keep you posted as this story develops with under an hour left to go before Mayhem begins airing!
